bottle... really dark red, almost in between sangria and red wine... the aroma is STRONG, olives and blue cheese at first, as it settles and opens up you are patiently awarded with a more balanced combination of raspberries, light cheese and hay, its perfect... the taste is really really good, but you can tell its fresh, in time this will settle down perfectly and live up to its older relatives

Framboos ’14 Pours a rubin red, satured color, with no head to speak of - apparantly this flat as an island. Explosive nose of an intriguing interplay between crisp strawberries and funky glue, together with blue cheese. Has an astringent vinegar acetic quality to it, which lends a fermented ripeness to the berries. Has a wet leaves characteristic to it, with moldy, funky wood bark and strawberry bush. Drinks fairly flat, with just the tiniest amount of carbonation, which leads to an uncompromising, tongue sticking acetic tartness, without 3 Fonteinens typical stony mineral effervescence. The crispness of the fruits make up for it though by providing a nice raspberry richness. Tastes of cucumber water, turnip cabbage, vinegar and very unripe raspberries. The berries then produce a stone pit accompanied, earthen sweetness, while the beers profound tartness becomes even more prominent. Has an aqueous softness in the finish, while its strawberry richness is almost gone, putting the flavor focus entirely on the teeth numbing, long lastic sourness. Drinks more than an AWA than a fruit Lambic to me - incredibly sour, vinous, with not much else being able to cut though. The beer produces a powerful acetic sourness which is able to overcome the raspberry presence in this. Compared to Cantillons Rose, this is inferior in each and every way, less pronounced fruit characteristics and quite unbalanced.

2014 Bottle at the 2015 Beer&Boardgames in the woods session with esp0r & simonsen. Hazy red body, pink/white head. Aroma is tart with strong raspberry notes, barnyard. Taste is quite sour, very acidic, with funka nd lots of raspberries. This beer is all about the berries, so fresh soura and delightful. Sour teethpeeling finish with a long lasting berry taste. Very nice!

Aroma definitely brings some blue cheese funk and huge raspberries. Pours thicker dark cranberry red. Flavor has funk and raspberries as expected, bit and thick on the body, tart and acidic for sure, but not cutting hugely.

Bottle brought by daje, and shared at the Weekend in the woods 2015 - with daje, Simonsen and some other guys
Pours red, super hazy, with almost no head! Smell of raspberries, loads of it! Funk, wood, stable, some malts, complexity, but most of all raspberries. Light to moderate sweet, clean wonderful raspberry flavor, elegant woody elements, oak, tart berry acids, medium sour, complex bretty flavors, just a blast! Really a fantastic fruit lambic!

750, corked and baled. Wow, N, thank you so much for this. Pours a cloudy dark crimsony pink with minimal pink froth settling. Bright raspberry nose, intensely fruity and fresh and redolent, very present and dimensional. Minimal interference to the fruit; there’s light ferment sharpness coming in but otherwise the berries and crystal clear and pleasantly sweet without being cloying the way only real fruit can be. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Light oiliness. Bright tangy sweet juicy raspberries across the mid palate, washing into a crisp light refreshing finish. Wonderful.

Murky burgundy, no head. Smells of vinegar and raspberry, vanilla, cheesy hops, a slight bit of charcoal, dirty socks. Taste is a mild to medium fruit/candy sour, a little vanilla, tart raspberry. The aged hops are buried a bit under the sourness and acidity. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours byrgundy deep pink or ruby red with no head. On the nose I get the sweetest and richest raspberries emaginable. Sour, ripe garden raspberries made into jam, small hints of something salty, light whifs of forrest berry yoghurt and of course bretty underlying lambic. One of the nicest and fullest fruit noses of any beer I’ve come across. Intense fruityness in the taste with a good sour kick. All in all packing a helluva punch, ballanced by perfect oak. Full almost oily mouthfeel. The aftertaste lingers and in the same direction as the taste. Intensely fruity, intensely sour. Masterpiece!

Bottle 2015 himmeriget. Pours red with no head. Aroma of tarty raspberry, funky, fruity jam, light barn, very tart, light yeasty. Taste is rather tarty, fresh berries, quite funky, rather thin body, with little to none carbonation, but overall a nice experience.
