Appearance: Pours a hazy, reddish-pink body with a scant, white head.
Smell: Tart, sour aroma layered with a wonderful raspberry and cherry fruitiness along with notes of a dank, dark cellar inhabited by a leather-clad Mold Monster.
Taste: Fruity from the get-go with flavors of raspberries, sour cherries, and maybe even a few chunks of seedless watermelon all centered around a lactic sourness. A drop of vanilla, a touch of wood. There’s never much in the way of sweetness, but you do get a good, hearty dose of barnyard funk. Finishes dry and sour with a lingering fruitiness. Mercifully, it’s never overly tart or sour.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Mild carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly mellow and easy-going for a lambic. Very nice.

Aug 12, 2008 750ml bottle purchased at Ebenezer’s. Poured a bright reddish amber in color with a small pink head. Aroma is very tart with berries, brett, oak, and funky. Taste is extremely tart. Flavors of sour cherries, raspberries, oak, barnyard funk. Finish is dry, and very nice. I really enjoyed this one.

Aug 12, 2008 750ml, thanks cmubeerman - dated Feb., 14th, 2007. Cloudy pink color with a pinkish head. Aroma is awesome. Super sour and tart, light berry notes, musty, woody, wet hay/wool. Flavor of sweet tarts and sour cherries and raspberries. Finish is almost painful and lemony. Light drinking and superb.

Aug 12, 2008 Bottle (750ml). Shared with blankboy and garthicus, my bottle thanks to the amazing generosity of Glouglouburp!. Cloudy deep ruby pour with an average-sized frothy head and thick strands of lacing (I drooled looking at it, that’s a 5!). Yummy aroma - look, I don’t have the words to adequately describe this beer, so: sour-lemon-heavy yeast-burnt rubber-sour green fruit .... you know; GOOD! The taste followed right on - more fruit, more funk, dry, pungent, sour - I wanted to just drink it all myself, such a great Lambic. Thick bodied, hugely acidic but still the fruit character held its own - one of the best fruit sours I’ve ever had. Thanks again, Dany!

Aug 11, 2008 Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a lovely cherry red with an average size pinkish-white head. Aroma: Oh yeah! Sweet malt, funky yeast, tart raspberries, light spices, oak and light hops -- just awesome. Flavour follows the aroma -- well balanced tart-ey goodness! Medium bodied. Fantastic stuff, a great example of the style. Thanks for sharing Harry!
