3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled Nov 2012. Pours clear red to form a dark red beer with a hint of a pink head. Smell - very slight cherry. More leaves - spinach, spearmint. Red wine and cider. Body is medium and carbonation is fairly high. Taste - rounded, almost meaty up front. Sour, tart and tooth-coatingly sweet (but not nearly as sweet as most beers in the style), sherbet. Again, just a bit of cherry coming through with some caramelly malts. Finishes crisp, dry and tannic like wine. I like it - it’s interesting - but not worth the cash in my opinion. My girlfriend says it tastes like cider that’s gone off.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle - Huge intense cherry notes, sweet but not overly. Deep maroon red with no head. Tart and sweet cherry. Lots of cherry but I really liked it, enough tartness to balance the sweetness.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle shared with cards04 at Stone Tap, Hudson, WI. Sweet and sour with oakiness. A fabulous fruit limbic that’s much more complex than simply overpowering cherries or whatever they usually do. Dark body not a lot of head.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, cheers Ben. Pours a luscious deep red. Thick cherry aroma, with a hint of funkiness. Taste is quite sweet, with a moderate lactic sourness. The sourness is well balanced with the cherry flavor.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours an amazing deep red with no head. Literally none. The cork didn’t even "pop" when I pulled it. No matter, the beer is too good to concern myself with such trivial matters. Aroma of cherries, some light vinegar, amazing cherry fruity bouquet, wood, flavor of cherries, great acidity, some lemon, medium bodied. Amazing - best kriek I’ve had. I’m drinking it with some relatives who are having red wine - look’s no different!
