M0RHI (1067), Luxembourg, Luxembourg Aug 10, 2007 Bottle, chris o shindig. Orange, thin off-white head. Not as sharp, complex as the blauw. Very compex still, has a bite, and not as smooth. Well aged, very good. maeib (4677), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England Aug 7, 2007 Bottled - Chris O shindig 2007 - A hazy blonde coloured lambic with some whitish bits for a head. The aroma is excellent wih sweat socks, barnyards and tons of funk. The taste is lovely funk and actually has signs of the alcohol. Less funky than the Blauw but still delicious and tasty. Theis (3617), Denmark Jul 13, 2007 Updated: Jan 30, 2008Rerate: Bottle at home - club tasting. Ekstra notes: high citrus, a bit too violent citrus. Bottle at RF07 - At the Plan B Tasting Session...... Thanks Guys !! I tasted this the week before at ØLbaren, and found it better the first time. Unclear amber - white head. Cactus, gooseberries, sugar, brown sugar, light sweetness, wood, grape, nice dryness. A bit too sweet. Round soft mouthfeeling. (5/2/6/3/15) Ughsmash (3978), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Jun 11, 2007 Bottled at Heeren van Liedekercke. Poured an almost clear (initially) amber with a short cap of white head. Aroma was rather subtle compared to the Blauw, but was still very well-done.. wet horse blanket upfront paired with a hint of lemon zest.. some dusty barnyard and woodiness make appearances as well. The flavor was more intense than the nose with refreshing vinegar tartness.. well-placed old barn feel to it.. long vinegar and lemony finish, again with some woody accents. Beautiful balance and feel on the palate with a long, drawn-out refreshing finish. Excellent stuff! Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 3, 2007 Bottle. A orange beer with a small white head. The aroma and taste is acidic and of wood and grape. Medium body with a very dry finish. joergen (8429), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 3, 2007 Bottle.

Tart finish. fonefan (10868), VestJylland, Denmark Jun 2, 2007 Bottle 75 cl @ De Heeren van Liedekercke, Denderleeuw, Belgium. Hazy orange color with a large frothy good lacing mostly lasting off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, wood, fruit / berry. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, and a very dry finish. (fruit / berry sweet). Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. Intense and very complex ;o)) awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA Mar 20, 2007 From a 750mL Bottle. Transparent, sunset golden pour with a huge, foamy head of brilliant white. Light effervescent bubbles slowly float to the surface, giving it a bit of a champagne-like sparkle. Aromas of lucsiously tart tangerine zest tickles the nostrils with a light green peppercorn spice. Some funkly lemon rinds and pomegranite seeds add further complexity. A gently sweet layer of pink lady apple flesh and oaky chardonnay skins form a delicious underlying aromatic layer. Impressively funky and spicy. Light bodied, sparkling mouthfeel. Tons of sour acidic funk instantly overwhelms the palate. There’s a great leathery oak layer that envelopes the tongue, creating a tingling sensation that reminds me of the palate sensation of freshly grated nutmeng, minus the nutmeg flavor. Some slightly ashy oak piles on, along with some sun-blanched wheat and herbal stalks of Indian summer goldenrod for some aged hop character. Very old and musty flavors; lots of funky pepper characters. This one does a fantastic job of balancing the layers of funk and tart, allowing it to be crisp, dry, funky, refreshing, and intensely sour all at once. Thanks for sharing, Chris!
