Papsoe (14613), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 2, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy golden with a small, off-white head. Sharp, complex Brett nose. Medium body, sharp - yet also delicate and complex - Brett accents. The finish is very dry with even some bitterness showing in between the massive acidity. Still I find this smoother and more subtle than the Blauw version. 280907 omhper (12147), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 31, 2007 Bottled at RBESG ’07. Hazy amber, lively head. Incredibly aroma of cobweb and barnyard inm layerafter layer. Tart and light bodied with lively dense mouthfeel. Mildly sour with woody barnyard flavour. So lovely and complex! I’d like just a tad more acidity, but my god, that aroma. It’s 12 out of 10! yespr (11613), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 6, 2007 75 cL bottle, (note: date on the bottle is the wedding day of me and my wife). Pours hazy deep yellow with a lacing white head. Mellow sweat aroma, not too much - just noticeable. Dry flavour but more soft than the blauw but also more acidic. Finish is quite woody, slight dry and sour in a nice blend.
