Armand Debelder + Tomme Arthur blend - the results of a fun day a 3 Fonteinen + 4 year old Boon Lambic and Armands own Lambic from 2008.

Note the typo on the label, stating Tommy instead of Tomme which is his real name.

Pours hazy yellow color with a large head. Aroma of rose hip, grape fruits, sour fruits, mild yeast notes, floral hops and some rowan berries. Flavor of rowan berries, grape fruits, grass, yeast notes, mild spices and rose hip. Lots of CO2, a bit too much though, sour fruity palate with a mouth drying finish. Very nice.

A: Cloudy orange body. Massive porous head forms instantly and slowly recedes. Thick, crusty lacing.

S: Must, earth, lemon, oak, and wet hay.

T: Like the nose, there is a nice pleasant musty funk that is accentuated by a clean zippy citric character.

M: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, mellow, refreshing acidity. Light tartness in the finish.

O: Looking forward to seeing how this develops with time. Additional development of the earthy notes in both the nose and flavor will do wonders for this beer as it already has a good foundation.

Bottle shared at RBSG 2012 Grand Tasting. Pours yellow with ample carbonation -- too much actually, needing some vigorous swirling to bring it back down. The lambic used is old but this tastes young somehow, very bright and sour, funky lemonade, acidic lemon zest, palate zapping with even some bitterness in the finish.

Light apricot colored pour, nice fluffy white head. Aroma is funky, lemons, barnyard, wool rug aroma. Flavor is dry, tart, earthy funky notes. Really a nice beer that I am guessing will get better with some age. Multiple pours at RBSG and Woodshop.
