Bottle with huge thanks to RobertDale! Pours cloudy amber gold with a small white head and nice lacing on the glass. Aroma is quite simple, funky, barnyard, lemon, green apple. Flavor is medium tart and medium funky, a bit of fruity sweetness initially but otherwise dry dry dry. Medium body, champagnelike carbonation. This is a refined gueuze.

Bottle shared @ Dak’s Black Friday tasting. Dark 24 karat gold with hints of brass, copper, and tangerine accompanied by a small ivory fizz. Loads of funky cheese, vinegar, lactic acid, tart citrus, lemongrass, horse blanket, wet hay and sweat. Also get some mild peach, apricot, and tropical fruit. Incredibly complex, sour, and refreshing. Two thumbs up!

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2013 Bottle, enormous thanks to Ian and Savvy1982! Shared with Davey. Dark gold, medium white head. Loads of funk here, LOADS, with standout elements of rindy cheese, vinegar, rubber bands, lemon, apricot. Moves beautifully across the palate, nothing harsh, and very much more than the sum of its parts-- so drinkable yet o fascinatingly complex.

Bottle, big thank you to bytemesis. Cloudy yellow orange color, lots of bubbles, nice head of foam. Funky, sweaty, lactic aroma, a little fruity. Dry palate, brut champagne, similar flavor characteristics to the aroma. Very good.

This one poured a hazy light orange with a small off white head. Aroma was of.barnyard funk, citrus rind, apples, and vinegar. Flavor was similar, a nice melange of tart, sweet, funk and fruity to be very complex and inviting

Bottle with big thanks to beerman6686. Pours a cloudy orange with a white foamy head. Mineral like aroma with a slight burnt rubber background some apples and vinegar. Tastes super tart. Refreshing for a hot day, drinking in winter though.

Orange öl med storbubbligt gulvitt skum. Doft av gröna äpplen, stall, hö,lätt syrlighet och en balanserad funkighet. Riktigt bra balans mellan syra och sötma i smaken. En rigtigt bra blandad geuze.

Pours a nice golden with a nice white head that leaves a great amount of lacing. Aroma is funky/cheesy with freshly cut grass. Taste is of lemons and green apples. Light and refreshing, I’m sure I could drink a lot of this. This is a great gueuze but I think it suffered from being compared to the 2008 Vintage we had just a few bottles ago. It felt less polished or maybe it needs to age a little more. Still, go for it... you won’t regret it!
