Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of horse blanket, malt, caramel, wood, and some brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of wood, brettanomyces, wood, malt, and a bit of vinegar, leading to a tart finish. Thanks madsberg for sharing.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a small off-white head. Greasy, sweaty barnyard aroma. Medium body, sweet rotten fruit initially, then lots of Brett, salt and barnyard. Heavily minerally. Sulphurous finish but not overly tart. A funky, pleasant Lambic. 130612

Bottle shared at Sour & Bitter. Hazy amber beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Nice fresh feel about this one, less of the woody dry sourness (although it’s there underneath) more white wine and a whisper of vanilla. Dry finish. Easily the best of 3 Fonteinen beers I tried tonight.
