COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Golden Blend is made with 4 year old Lambic that accounts for 25 % of it’s contents, the rest of the blend is made up by a "secret" combination of 1, 2 and 3 year old Lambic.

The exact mixture is only known by the master-blender Armand himself.

The name "Golden Blend" is not far away from the truth, in fact, the 4 years of maturation in oak-wooden barrels is making this particular Lambic very expensive.

Due to the "evaporation" through the barrels, only a small percentage of the lambic is left over after 4 years of maturing.

Pours a golden opaque color with a nice airy head, the pillowy head diminishes quickly to a nice lasting ¼ inch head. Bottle dated 2011/02/17. Very complex, beautiful earth, sour, funk to the aroma and taste. Lots of zing, clean and some bitterness, it presents a surprising palate, finishes dry, carbonation very present in the mouth fill. Seriously fantastic and most impressive! Delightful.

375ml corked and caged bottle. Bb 02 2021 Mid gold body, slight uniform hazy. Holds a small white foam. Subtle yet complex aroma; cereal, hay, apricot, white vinegar, peach, white pepper, light oak character...ammonia? Lean body, creamy mouth filling texture, racy but balanced acidity. Delicately flavoured, somewhat vinous, fair bit of citrus and stone fruit, hay, mild barnyard, spice with lingering oak on a long smooth finish. Good, very good. Yum!

Been looking to try this one. Golden and slightly hazed with a near full sheet of whites. Smells good and funky with a solid punch of acidic tones offering a precursor to the oral experience. This one falls through good and tart, then some lemons, some slight bitterness (which I quite enjoy), some soily wet hamper funk. I like the flavor of this one for certain. Nice juicy mouthfeel with soft carb and a watering finish. I like this beer very much.

Rating #2200. 375ml green corked bottle. Bottled 17/02/2011, best before 02/2021.Opened with a worrying light pop, some scunge around the cork. All was well though, a gold pour, hazy. White head fades out quickly. Nose has big lemony sourness, light funk. Taste is woody, sour, lemony, lemon candy, white grape, tangy, salty, Dry finish, lots of wood with tart lemon. Nice tingling carbonation, medium bodied. Well blended and hugely enjoyable.

Sample from a 12.7oz bottle. Half hazy golden orange color. Little off-white head. Nice, funky, oaky nose. Big tart taste, some lemon acidic, light spice. Medium body. Smooth, soft sort of stronger carbonation. Lightly sticky in the finish. Good oaky lightly spicy citric tart character. Solid geuze, although I feel like I might be missing something, here
