COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Golden Blend is made with 4 year old Lambic that accounts for 25 % of it’s contents, the rest of the blend is made up by a "secret" combination of 1, 2 and 3 year old Lambic.

The exact mixture is only known by the master-blender Armand himself.

The name "Golden Blend" is not far away from the truth, in fact, the 4 years of maturation in oak-wooden barrels is making this particular Lambic very expensive.

Due to the "evaporation" through the barrels, only a small percentage of the lambic is left over after 4 years of maturing.

Bottled sample. Gold in colour with a bit of haze and strong spritzy carbonation. Typical 3F aromas of dried wooden barrel, lemon peel and funk, along with a faint floral note. Flavors are of driftwood, lemon, white pepper, funk, and more delicate florals. Light bodied with firm sourness and acidity. Great complexity and potency.

375ml bottle from Beautiful Beers online. Deep golden amber colour, foam off-white head and aroma of lemon rind, funk, woody, honey. Taste is zesty citrus rind, tangy fruity with sweetish caramel, woody oak and barnyard notes. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry sour finish. Really well balanced and very drinkable.

P: A clear orange/amber with only a few white bubbles. S: Very funky, rotting wood, pineapples, cider and a bit of socks. T: Wow, this is so balanced between fruits and funk, you get some sour limes, tropical fruits, oak and barnyard funk. M: Medium body with medium/high carbonation and it ends rather dry.
