COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Golden Blend is made with 4 year old Lambic that accounts for 25 % of it’s contents, the rest of the blend is made up by a "secret" combination of 1, 2 and 3 year old Lambic.

The exact mixture is only known by the master-blender Armand himself.

The name "Golden Blend" is not far away from the truth, in fact, the 4 years of maturation in oak-wooden barrels is making this particular Lambic very expensive.

Due to the "evaporation" through the barrels, only a small percentage of the lambic is left over after 4 years of maturing.

Bottle. Big pop of the cork. Huge frothy gushing white head. Deep golden yellow pour. Big lemon zest, brett, and foggy wood aromas. Not overly tart or sour, with reserved lemon, tangerine, and other assorted citrus flavors. Highlights of brett, lowlights of damp wood. Slightly acidic. Medium body, with surprisingly balanced carbonation. A tip of the cap to Armand as he truly is the master.......

Bottle. 2013 vintage. Thanks to KyotoLefty. Fresh and quite pungent nose, manure and juicy tropical fruit pressings. Hazy copper/straw colro. Gentle, light pickled fruit, dark sort of citrus bleeding on the tongue, bitter fruit rind in finish. Thin-medium and puckering. Brash stuff. A bit of a show off, too. Refreshing young punk beer.

bottle, kindly donated by kappldav123! Hazy pale yellow, fluffy white head. Impressive aroma: barnyard, yeast, hay, gooseberry... Sour flavours with characteristics of goseberry and lemon, with hay-like hops and some barnyard. Delicious.

Has an orange-amber color, no head. Low carbonation, reluctant aromas of floral hints, some leather, young grapes, with no tartness in the nose at all. Upwelling fruits in the beginning, with a very smooth mouthfeel, backed up by musty yeast. Then, sour tartness brings a new layer to the beer, without rolling over the established smoothness. Due to the lack of carbonation in this one, it becomes a little heavier on the palate, and therefore does not get distracted by metallic carbonation. This leaves the attention on the acidic sourness, mingled with grainy malt and oaken notes, which lingers on the palate in a gentle, fruity way for a long time. Also a slight sweetness is recognizable, in a soft, wine-like fashion, which gets washed away, as the lemon zest orientated aftertaste begins to dry out the palate. The sourness nontheless is pleasant on the tongue and well balanced throughout, as it leaven space for impressive sour and bitter notes.
