375ml bottle (June 6, 2013) in a tulip. Pours deep purple/pink with a pinkish, quickly dissipating head. Aroma of sourness, light funk, cherries, light malts, and hints of an earthy note. Flavor the same with lots of sourness and cherries and some funk. Average texture. A really cool kriek.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Dark cherry color. Subtle fruit aroma, classic lambic tartness. Great dry, complex, tart aroma. Great mouthfeel, strong carbonation. Not easy to drink, though, but this brew is really something.

Deep cloudy cherry red...has a wonderful cherry sour cherry nose. Very little to no head. What little there is really works well with the consistensy of the mouthfeel. The cherries just pop...Great brew!!!

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Licht zurige geur. Bijna geen schuim. De smaak zelf neigt meer naar het zure dan naar het zoete. Maar al bij al een deftig kriekbier

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from The Bottle Shop. 375ml. Bottle date is 2007 so it’s been aged in the bottle for 7 years. This will be interesting as there are mixed views on ageing fruit lambics. Pours clean out of the bottle with little head. Deep hazy cherry red. Nose is delightful. Big perfumey cherry fruit, sherberty, white sugar, clean minerals. Taste leads with lip puckering sour and tart, fruit has faded. Minerally, clean, medium sour and tart. Tartness is dominating because the fruit has faded, brambly apple sour, subtle acidic tart, mild sweet cherry fruit, slight vinous. Finish is very tart and puckering sour, balanced with fading cherry fruit.
