4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20

Poured from bottle into tulip: Pours deep, clear red with a small pink head. Aroma is sour, cherry, balsamic vinegar. Taste is incredibly tart, a little funky, oak, and cherry. Light body, packs quite a punch, really tasty. I love this sour.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
375ml 2013 years vintage green corked and caged bottle, poured into a stem glass. Appearance is opaque carmine red with a small pink head, that swiftly reduced leaving no lacing. Aroma of cherries, green apples, barnyard and a hint of vinegar. Flavour of cherries, green apples, table grapes and wooden character notes. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and heavy on sourness. Palate is medium-light bodied, soft texture and high carbonation. Overall a great beer for the style, an authentic lambic Kriek pleasantly sour and unsweetened, I would have liked it slightly higher ABV though.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Small cork and caged bottle from Tipples. Pours an intense deep red color, mostly clear, with a pretty pink bubbly head on top. Huge sour aromas, vinegar, dark tart cherries, dusty dry oak. Flavor is big black cherries, tartness with some light vinegar, dry oaky finish that lingers a bit with the cherry. Big sourness here. Spritzy carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Overall I like this much better than the Intense Red, and just as much or more than Lou Pepe Kriek. Good stuff.

Flaska@SB. Medelfyllig.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is one of my favorites. From the time you open the bottle to the last drop is awesome. Had most recently at the Sybarite Pig in Boca Raton, FL. Snifter. Pours a great red cherry with a spritzy head. The aroma is amazing with wine, tart cherries, and wood. The taste is just as good as the aroma. Solid tart cherries, defined with the aging. (2 years in the bottle for the one I had.) Slight yeast with the awesome sour tart bacteria. Light body, easy to drink. Solid carbonation. Please let me have another.
