Ungstrup (11555), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 15, 2003 The aroma is sweet with slight notes of cherries. The color is a clear red-brown and it has a light red fine but collapsing head. The flavor is of sour cherries with strong notes of wood and a underlying sourness, that brings out the saliva. An OK kriek, that places itself between the sweet ones and the sour ones. Papsoe (11030), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 7, 2007 (Bottle 37,5 cl) Vintage 2001 - in my version simply called "3 Fonteinen Kriek". Pours a hazy reddish with a bubbly, reddish head. Fresh, tart cherry aroma. Medium body with tart but also very fresh cherry notes. Distinct Brett and horse blanket - all the usual stuff - with a vaguely fusty edge. Excellent. 280607 omhper (10888), Stockholm, Sweden Apr 30, 2002 This ratingis for the bottled version. Bright cherry red, very lively. Acidic nose with loads of raspberry and sweet cherry aroma. Though acidic the flavour is dominated by sweet cherries. Sourish finish finish with a hint of crystalized sugar. Very good, but there are more complex krieks. (Mind you, this beer is definitely not sweet, even if there are some sweetish flavour hints.) yespr (7121), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jul 15, 2007 Updated: Sep 9, 200737.5 cL bottle. Pours red, hazy with a quickly disappearing crispy head. Aroma is cherry sweet/sour and sulphorish. Biting sour flavour with clear cherry notes. Dry finish. I had my hopes high for something great, this was mediocre :( 6-3-6-3-13<br />

Nice. 6-4-7-3-14 Oakes (6999), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 17, 2005 Reddish-purple colour with a light purple head. Big aroma of brett, leather and cherries. Complex, fruity, leathery, dusty. Vast tartness and complexity. A classic kriek.
