4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Tap at the brewery, free sample, thanks! Clear golden with a few little bubbles on top. Light sour grains, flowers, bitter wood with a touch of vanilla, dry white wine, leafy raw vegetable nots and soft weeds. Taste is light to medium sour and light bitter. Under medium bodied with dry feel and low but sparkly carbonation. Light and fresh, surprisingly complex. I could drink this all day ( not good idea as it is now only 11). Maybe a tiny bit more bitter than I’d like, but very nice stuff.

Keg at The 24th Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation. Cloudy Orange with an absence of head. Irn Bru look. Aroma of funky lemon and wood. There’s a wee touch of sweetness kicking about in there too. It works really well. Grapfruit sour with a nice farmyard funk. Really delicious.

Cask at restaurant today. After visiting many times and only having Jonge, this was a nice surprise. Hazy orange nose is light. Minor lemon and a lot of acidity. It’s very sour. Lots of wood, a touch of sea salt. Really sticks to the teeth. Little bit of sweetness with a lot of lemon at the finish
