75cl traded bottle a couple years old now. Really a nice fruit lambic. When it is cooler you get much more of the tart lambic flavors but as it warms the cherries really appear, both meaty-sweet and tart. Interesting because for me lambics typically get acidic as they warm. Tasty.

Bottled. Hazy pale amber with reddish hue and thin off-white head. Sweetish cherries, bit of marzipan, light christmas tones in aroma. More of some sour cherries in taste, some very light funky notes too. Easy drinking with quite nice flavors in the end. Some christmas notes appears towards the finish as well.

This one is indeed a bit different than the ’usual’ oude kriek and think it indeed deserves it’s on rating, it’s not an alias. It tastes a bit more bitter than the oude kriek, I think due to the Schaerbeekse cherries they used on it. Just as good as the other though.

pours a nice red color with a small white head. Has a subtle smell of cherries but the taste is just amazing. the sourness hits you but then there’s a little sweetness that i just find amazing. I need to find another bottle to age.
