4/28/2010 vintage 750ml into an over sized wine glass. Allowed to warm up to room temperature. A - Deep red body, very clear and juice like. I gave it an aggressive pour for the second glass and I got an off white/light pink head that fizzled away in seconds. Pouring the swirled dregs yields a cloudy dark pink/red liquid that looks like a raspberry smoothie. S - Sweet cherries followed by some brett funk. The cherry is very potent but sweet with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Just very light and faint spices. The finish is oaky and sour. T - Sour cherries followed by oak and brett funk. Very smooth and refreshing flavor. I can pick out some of that vanilla and cinnamon. Some lemony lactic action going as well. Tart and crisp carbonation. O - A fantastic kriek. It has a lot of complex sweetness to balance out the sour and tart flavors. I enjoyed it much more than the standard oude kriek, but the price tag is really difficult to swallow. Still glad I grabbed a bottle though.

Pours a rich ruby red color with a finger of pink foam. The nose is spicy oak, ripe cherry pie and a trace of acidic tart funk. The palate follows the nose as the spicy oak opens up into a tart cherry, old dusty basement oak. Finish is puckering dry and lingers with earthy cherry pit.

Smak och doft av körsbär, svavel. Sträv, sur, kärv och torr. Svag körsbärssmak men väldigt god.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle thanks to adnielsen. Pours a bright ruby red with a slightly pink head of foam that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is really fresh cherries with just a hint at the sourness to ensue. Taste is mouth drying, enamel eating sour. More sour than the original kriek. Really sour cherries. Mouthfeel is thick and almost syrupy, but still thin enough to maintain it’s sourness throughout the drink. Fuck is this sour. Love it!

750ml bottle, split with my bride. Pours a clear, ruby red color with a pinkish-white head. Aroma is fruity, cherry, funky, Brett. Medium on the palate with lively carbonation. Flavor is lightly sour, tart, cherry pie, funky, some oak, with a light sour finish. An excellent Kriek. The cherry flavor is very distinct.

Bottle @Linköping Beer Expo 2013. Aroma very powerful, sour cherries, cassis, notes of solvent of some kind. Taste is sour without being too dry, some cherries notes. Finish is long and very tasty

Bottle. Hazy red with no head. Looks kinda like tomato juice. Aroma: frunky lambic notes with nutty cherries and oak. More complex than my notes describe. Lovely! Taste: medium to high sourness with rich cherry notes, nuts, stable funk, hay, some citrus notes. A really nice kriek that I enjoyed alot!

750ml bottle pours reddish amber, thin cream colored head with good retention. Nose of horsehair and tart cherry. Taste follows with puckering tartness. Cherry flavor is subdued. Mouth is a mix of creaminess and cactus like prick.

’08 Bottle courtesy GT via my dad. Thanks! Dark ruby pour, very light pink head. Good retention/little lace. Aroma of raspberry, funk, dust, barrel, cherry. Taste is lightly sweet, tart, dusty, raspberry, funk. Palate is very soft, even a bit creamy, lightly sour finish. Excellent, very easy drinking lambic.
