UPDATED: FEB 2, 2004 [Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival] A beutiful red beer with a fast disappearing pink head. The aroma is sweet with strong cherry notes. The flavor is sour with light cherry notes - a nice flavor but not fantastic. A good kriek - but I've had them better.

(Bottle 75 cl) Vintage 2004. Pours a hazy, reddish with a huge, pink head - quickly fading though. Aroma of sour cherries. Medium body with a very high carbonation, again sour cherries in the flavour - the sourness lasting all through the finish. 090507

75 cL bottle, huge thanks to Hildigöltur. Pours clear and golden red with a fizzy pink head. Tart cherry deep spiced to mild dry almond aroma. Dry wooden and cherry almondish towards mild spiced initial flavoured. Dry cherry flavoured as main impression and a smooth and slight sulphorish note in addition. Acidic and tart finish with a nice cherry fruity accent.
4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 omhper (15956) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2003 Bottled. The bottle is unlabelled, according to Akkurat this is because it is still noy officially sold. It pours dark clear red with almost no carbonation, probably because it is still really young. Acidic aroma of fresh black cherries. Very vinous, even more so thanks to the low carbonation. Firm and clean. The finish is full of citric acid and a light touch of fruity bitterness.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 MiP (11782) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2008
Bottle, 5%. Made with 60% Schaerbeekse cherries. Litterally mouthwatering acidic aroma. Some fresh cellar aroma and a hint of fat cherries. Quite cloudy, but beautiful deep red colour, very small pink head. The flavour is also nicely acidic and on the sweet side. Some fruit, but it reminds me mostly of saftevand. Very high carbonation. Very good, even though I prefer the sharper edge of Cantillon. 9 4 8 3 16

UPDATED: NOV 13, 2007 2007-11-01, vintage 2004, 3 years old, courtesy of Jacob (Hildigöltur), 8-5-8-4-16=41 Cloudy red color with a persistent thin head. Delicate aroma, perfect balance between the kriek, kriek kernels and the cellar touch. Quite smooth mouthfeel, high carbonation, a lot of citrusy sourness, light cherries, astringent, very woody. Great balance
2004-01-28, 9-5-6-3-14=37 Cloudy dark red color; pink-reddish head. Wonderful cherry aroma, cherry kernels, and light vinegar. Sour, quite dry, smoother than other lambics; some cork. Too short finish. Thanks Jens (Ungstrup) and Jacob (Lövenlund) for sharing this bottle.
