[Bottle at Ølbaren] Pours hazy deep red with small short lasting pink head. Sour aroma with fresh authentic cherry and oak notes. Sour flavor with lovely cherry notes that finishes of with nice citric acid character. Great complexity. Great beer!

Botella. Hazy red. Pleasant tart fruity cherry aroma. Good mouthfeel indeed. Fruity cherry sour pleasant flavour, sour dry bit woody finish.

My 1000th rated Belgian beer.
Deep ruby color, tiny pinky head. Sophisticated lambic aroma: sour cherries, fruityness and some barnyard. Soft palate, medium-bodied. Dry, tart flavor, same time highly drinkable. Red wineish tannines, red grapes, sour cherry fruitness, some wood and light notes of barnyard. Seems that you can age this for years, perhaps 10+ years. Kriek at its best.

Wow! Pours deep red with an impressive frothy, pink head. Fine duration. Aroma is stunning ripe cherries, light, balanced woodiness and caramel with a vanilla touch. Super velvety soft mouthfeel. Pleasantly dry. Flavour is tart, but somewhat balanced. Great cherry tones with great dryness. Sublime balance. Wow! (again)

Deep red with a pink head. Sour fresh cherry aroma with almond, vanilla and wood. Flavour is sweetish cherry, with lots of wood, and a wonderful tart cherry aftertaste. Delicious!

cloudy red, small white ro pink head. Raspberries, sour beer in the very nice aroma. Flavor is perfectly balanced sour wirh a hint of fruits. Refreshing and tasty.

Bottle coutesy Chrisv10. Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Nice red colour. Light malty and hoppy powerfull kriek aroma. Very sour. Moderate bitter very sour flavor. Nice kriek notes. Long great finish. Very nice creamy palate.

Bottle (01 march/ 2005) from Marcus. Very much appreciated. Pours a very dark reddish tinged brown with an emphemeral pinkish tan head. Aroma of sour cherry and brett. Medium body with fizzy/creamy carbonation. Flavor is sour, brettish, and puckering cherry. Finish is smooth, sour and a bit earthy. Not like sucking cherry pits. More like sucking sour cherry skins. Takes a long time for wood and oak to be noticeable, but it does happen. They don’t make many like this. It just gets better with time.

Bottled apr.5, 2004. Red color, persistent pinkish head. Aroma has cherries, cherry pits, some dust, lemon and fresh cheese. Prickly mouth feel, with a dry out effect. Certainly not an outspoken cherry flavor. It’s there, nothing more. Complex, but is waiting to be discovered, like a young girl unaware of het beauty. A cheesy character, especially in the aftertaste. Still lacks a bit of depth, but that wil come with ageing.
