---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ home. Pours dark brown with a large, creamy, attractive head. Tan colored with nice lacing. Aroma contains a nice blend of barnyard and light acidic brett character in balance with milk chocolate, cocoa and dark bread. Also notes of vanilla, red and dried fruits, lemon. Taste is straight up sour and acidic initially with notes of red berries, dried fruit. Mid taste has balancing milk chocolate, lemon and some caramel. Lingering sourness, oak, coffee, hay and barnyard, in an interesting combination. Medium bodied, with the milk chocolate providing a nice smooth overall balance to the acidic notes.

330 ml bottle. Black with a tan head. The aroma crawls way, way up in the nose, roasted sour and fresh. The taste is smooth and caramel sweet in the beginning, small bubbles which caress the palate. The taste turns into lemon sour, tart apples, cranberries, chocolate, coffee, and tobacco. The acidity feels inside your teeth. There are many enjoyable flavors, similar to oaked flavors. Very harsh acid.

A midnight black body displays a clump of large bubbles at its depths and is crowned by a 1", very tight-frothy head creating dense, thick, interwoven lace all around, and coming back with each swirl to create a somewhat resilient cap

Aromas and flavors offering excellent depth and solid complexity, leather and dark chocolate are cut and brightened by an array of vibrant pale and red fruits with accents of earth, rich in a wild way with a solid dose of limey-spritz on a rounded, brightly carbonated yet creamy and somewhat coating medium-light body finishing quickly with a soft caramel chocolate residual with solid acidic influence, with the knowledge this is a wild ale the label perfectly illustrates the goodness within

11.2 oz bottle served at 45º into 14.7oz Zwiesel Cognac snifter
