330ml bottle, with a simple label design picturing a barrel. Appearance is brownish-black with a medium sized frothy brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and caramel. Flavours of dark chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and caramel. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is medium-full bodied, creamy texture and lively carbonation. Overall a nice Porter with a prominent roasted flavour and little sweetness,

Bottle @ home 20140809. Pours black opaque with a dense beige head. Excellent head retention. Aroma is roasty with notes of raisins and milk (?). Nice roasty taste with lots of dark malt complexity, some dried fruits and a faint sourness. There are also hints of funk and green apples if you know to look for them. Vary nice, almost like a lighter version of what I remember Jester king black metal to be like. A bit out of balance though, the roastiness drowns everything else a bit.

Flaska från Systembolaget - kolsvart med vitt skum. Doftar inte så mycket. Smakade något syrligt, russin och vissa rostade toner. Smakar inte som någon porter jag tidigare smakat.

On tap at Ale Arsenal. Tart and light roast aroma. Black with brown highlights and brown head. Webbing down glass. Taste is moderate tart and lacto with cola aspects on back end. Finishes fairly quickly. Slight roast appeared more as it warmed.

330 ml bottle at the in-laws. Murky dark brown with tan head. Aroma is tangy, a bit of fruit, citric and roasted malt. Taste is strange, roasted, tart, light citric, lemon and yeast. Weird and pleasant

Sample at Birch And Barley/Churchkey. Pours brownish-black with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of charred malt, roasted nuts, dark fruit and earthy yeast. The finish is roasted malt and mildly tart fruit. Above average overall.
