On tap at Ale Arsenal. Tart and light roast aroma. Black with brown highlights and brown head. Webbing down glass. Taste is moderate tart and lacto with cola aspects on back end. Finishes fairly quickly. Slight roast appeared more as it warmed.

330 ml bottle at the in-laws. Murky dark brown with tan head. Aroma is tangy, a bit of fruit, citric and roasted malt. Taste is strange, roasted, tart, light citric, lemon and yeast. Weird and pleasant

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sample at Birch And Barley/Churchkey. Pours brownish-black with a medium tan head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit and yeast. Medium-bodied with flavors of charred malt, roasted nuts, dark fruit and earthy yeast. The finish is roasted malt and mildly tart fruit. Above average overall.

Tap @ Birch & Barley. This one gets points for interesting. Dark with ample mocha head and good lacing. Smells. Funky. Hmmm... chocolate, earth, nutty, a tad dank, and a hint of pepper and floral. Taste is first a little roasty then lightly sour in a good way. Roastiness wins out on the finish. Light bodied like a porter.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Roasty, coffeelike, yeastiness, unmistakeable 3 fonteinen, dry, woody, salty and quite fruity.
Black colour, smal tan head.
Medium bite, heavy tartness for the style, salty, rather dry, a bit weird but interesting. Medium bite, sharp carbonation, tart and roasty finish.
Interesting and weird at the same time. Quality brew, but the tartness and the roastiness seem to clash a bit.
