2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20 erickok (1059) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - OCT 10, 2011
As ’Herfstbok’ at the bar. Amber coloured beer with light tan head. Tabacco, boiled patatos, herbs, cereal and earthy. This strange dryness continues in the taste, that’s light bitter and albeit being drinkable not very pleasant. Sort of rye bitterness but at the same time misses character. Cannot compete against even the mass brewery Dutch bocks. (On tap at Oudean bar)
