2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
BOTTLE: at first, the aroma is not so bad; there is a shy but nice for what-it-is perfume of saaz hops, quickly replaced by an awesome fragrance ofjaritataca (skunk that is) and some hints of honey and there is a nice kind-of-pilsner color: blonde. yup, blonde. there you go: a real, true, authentic brazilian american pilsner. the thing is that there is no bitterness per se, it’s more about the very unpleasant acridness (a problem with the preservation of the bottle maybe? the sticker says best before august 30, 2012 thought and i bought it in mid-december, 2011... but the environment of the shop where i bought it could have been a problem; no air conditioned inside and it was more than 40°C outside and it was not stocked in any refrigerator). to me, it’s just another problematic brazilian beer, that was brewed with very good intentions. it’s why i always feel bad rating those beers. they do try to be different, but they just fail at it.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
355ml bottle (exp 30-3-15). Dark golden pour with average sized white head. Soft aromas of honey, grains and a hint of orange that is also reflected in the taste. Not much hop bitterness for a pilsner. Sweet malty palate with flattish carbonation. Not really a pilsner but still OK.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Another okay beer, seems more like a pale lager than a pils. Nothing memorable.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Âmbar, turva, com espuma densa, cremosa e de media duração.
Lúpulo intenso típico das americanas, além de malte, mel (mas não é doce) Tanto o aroma adocicado com o açúcar mascavo.
Lembra uma IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Boa cerveja. Aroma agradável e suave, poderia ser um pouco mais intenso o que traria a expectativa do amargor intenso que ela possui.
Amargor forte para o estilo proposto mas interessante para os amantes do lúpulo super extra.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Really appreciated this lager. Goes towards Boston lager from Sam Adams, but has increased switness, maybe due to the brown sugar. The dry, bitter finish is suberb. Beautiful gold color and white head. Nice malty aroma.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of bread, citrus, light pine and light yeast. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, yeast, light citrus and light earthiness with a crisp dry finish.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cerveja de bela aparéncia. Pouca espuma, o que difere das outras avaliações. Sabor forte de lúpulo, muito amarga na garganta, difícil de beber gole após gole. No geral, merece um 6 na avaliação.
