How to open a 3 Monts bottle in less than 30 seconds 1. Remove the capsule from the top of the bottle. 2. Take an ordinary table knife and pry one end of the metal staple away from the bottle, pointing the bottle away from you. 3. The staple will pop off the bottle smartly! 4. Remove the cork using a corkscrew with "wings." 5. Pour our the ale and enjoy!

Flavour is sweet malt with caramel, rich, malty and fruity. Aroma is fruity, caramel, malt and light liquorice. A really good one to try.

Bottle. Very interesting cork holding design, it took me a while to open it :) Amber body with low white head. Aroma is malty, light caramel. Taste has malty sweetness, little bit off balance to the sweet side. Body is full, medium carbonation. Alcohol well hidden.

Light brown. Clear. Aroma of candy and yeast. Flavour is a bit like sweet, raw bread dough with a dry finish mostly coming from the alcohol.

Bottle 75 cl from Deconinck @ home, 14.09.’14. Clear darkgolden almost amber color, with a white head. Aroma: sweet, caramel, fruits, alcohol note. Medium body. Taste: sweet, yeast, some caramel, hoppy, with little bitter finish, alcohol warming. Not bad.

Bottle shared with bartlebier - thanks! Golden and clear with a full white head. QUite a neutral smell, maybe blueberries and almonds in it. Malty-sweet taste, quaffable, low bitterness, light acidity. Medium body, sweet finish.

Bottle from a French supermarket. Pours amber with a rocky cream head. Fruity and spicy with noticeable warming booze. There’s a kind of bitter syrupy feel to this. Improves as the bottle goes down with sherry notes coming in.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2014 75cl bottle, courtesy of jaghana - merci!, shared at Hugi’s Homebrew Tasting. 9,5%. Heavy blonde pour, more heavy grains and concentrated honey in the aroma, along with wet hay and grassy hops. Not all too much going on in terms of flavour, mainly quality bread or pizza dough, reminiscent of a Heller Bock without the subdued esters, but with the gluey honey components. Not hard to drink, with well-hidden alcohol, but ponderous and providing much inspiration for further sipping.

malty body, a bit heavy and a touch sweet. Show notes of pears, apples and bread, but a bit too cloying for me. Not bad, but prefer the Biere Du Garde a bit drier.
