Bonne bière bien agréable, ne change pas trop de la 3 monts classique, un peu plus complexe...

Bottle 75 cl from Deconinck @ home, 14.09.’14. Clear darkgolden almost amber color, with a white head. Aroma: sweet, caramel, fruits, alcohol note. Medium body. Taste: sweet, yeast, some caramel, hoppy, with little bitter finish, alcohol warming. Not bad.

Bottle shared with bartlebier - thanks! Golden and clear with a full white head. QUite a neutral smell, maybe blueberries and almonds in it. Malty-sweet taste, quaffable, low bitterness, light acidity. Medium body, sweet finish.

Bottle from a French supermarket. Pours amber with a rocky cream head. Fruity and spicy with noticeable warming booze. There’s a kind of bitter syrupy feel to this. Improves as the bottle goes down with sherry notes coming in.

75cl bottle, courtesy of jaghana - merci!, shared at Hugi’s Homebrew Tasting. 9,5%. Heavy blonde pour, more heavy grains and concentrated honey in the aroma, along with wet hay and grassy hops. Not all too much going on in terms of flavour, reminiscent of a Heller Bock without the subdued esters, but with the gluey honey components. Not hard to drink, with well-hidden alcohol, but ponderous and providing much inspiration for further sipping.

malty body, a bit heavy and a touch sweet. Show notes of pears, apples and bread, but a bit too cloying for me. Not bad, but prefer the Biere Du Garde a bit drier.

Quite some caramel and a nice cereal taste. This beer has a redish colour and was quite clear. A good foamy head stayed for quite a while. Its taste was medium, qlightly bitter and very balanced. Average carbonation and long finish. For me a very good beer and thumbs up for the brewer. Well done.

75cl bottle from Auchan Mt St Martin: Poored in beer-glass: nice clear honey-amber color with minimal white head. Aroma: caramel, yeast, fruity, herbs. Taste: sweet, hoppy, yeasty with nice bitter finish. Overall nice and very drinkable beer with very little taste of 9,5vol alcohol

Bottle from Carrefour Calais and drunk at home. Clear dark amber with lasting white head. Syrupy malty aroma with a touch of hop. Fruity malt in the mouth, some lemon hop on the finish, some biting finish. Well I think it’s pretty good but not as good as the regular which is more dirnkable. Touch of heat on the finish. Good.
