brewtopia06. very black with a steady off-white head. aroma of porridge and cherry ripe. quite sweet, some golden syrup, nutella and chocolate sauce but dries out with a very oaty, slightly sour finish. curious and very drinkable

Jul 27, 2008 Big tan head on a dark opaque stout,carbonation right,aroma malty chocolate,coffee,notes of oatmeal,milky smell.Flavour mild for a start but good roasted tastes,oatmeal,bitter roasted caramel,malt chocolate,slight grittyness to velvet touch,love me stouts,this is good.Finish roasted full flavours,sweet.

Jul 18, 2008 Pours dark brown/black, with thick tan coloured head. Aromas of dark chocolate dominate with perhaps a hint of dried fruit. Palate is more expressive, showing more dark/bitter chocolate and liquorice with some very subtle sourness from the oat, finishes slightly sweet.

Jun 23, 2008 ...bottle. Good, to sum it up in one word. Not too complex, good smooth mouthfeel, and nice dark lingering head. Has that 3 ravens on the nose, finishes clean, and creamy. Oatmeal hints, with slight roasted coffee beans, and slight dark fruit in the mouth. Good job, worth a try.

Jun 20, 2008 Bottle (330ml).Poured extremely dark brown (virtually black) with a small rocky, light-brown head which was mostly diminishing. Aroma was of dusty chocolate truffles with roasted malts, latte, creamy caramel, vegemite on toast and some black berries. Flavor was similar to aroma with dusty chocolate truffles, roasted caramel malts, creamy coffee, vegemite on toast, tart black berries with leather notes and milk chocolate in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, a dry/creamy mouthfeel and a good finish.
