3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 SilkTork (4736) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - SEP 1, 2004
Bright bottled at Peterborough Fest, drunk 8 days later. Orange gold colour. Mmmm - nice hops! Fruity, dusty, flowery, fragrant. Mmm. This is a pleasant dry session bitter. Cuts through the thirst like a knife.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 chriso (7063) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 2, 2004
Pale gold colour. Limited aroma, but what there is is malty, which is rather unexpected given the appearance. Dry malt character continues onto the palate, but bitterness grows and even tends towards sharpness in the aftertaste. Curious, but I rather like it. Cask (handpump), Head of Steam, Euston.
