3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served a tad too cold with a nice, off-white, foamy, head that slowly settled and good lacing. Color is a clear, slightly pale yellow with loads of bubble trails. Aroma is heavy wheat, malt, hint of spice and fruit. Flavor is like nose, good balance between the 3 major taste components of sweet, bitter, and carbonic tang. Both smell and taste aren’t so much Belgian Wit as half-way between Wit and American Wheat; the Belgian characteristics are there but muted. Body is good, would be better if a little warmer; carbonation good. Finish is like flavor, short in length, and drinkable.

Wow. This is awful. Tastes like sweat socks. Hopefully it’s just old - I see it is marked retired.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle
A so-so wit beer shows glimmers of promise amidst mostly mundane sips. A bright sparkly presence could have been redeemed with a little tweaking. It is likely that I will be passing on 3 Sheeps for the time being with so many other choices on trips through the state.
Aroma / Appearance - Lively carbonation overstays its welcome as it brightens the glass with a fresh crisp white head. Lemon crisp, wheat, and custard thin out after a few minutes of sitting on the table. The hints of delicate yeast muster up brief sparks of better experiences.
Flavor / Palate - Dry lemons and buttery toast briefly spark the tip of the tongue. The bubbly carbonation then scrubs the palate clean in the course of a few seconds. It eventually falls squarely in the middle of the pack with the other forgettable witbiers. If you’re looking for a new tick grab a bottle. Otherwise check out many other better offerings in the Wisconsin area.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Breeze Thru. Straw colored pour. Light earth and lemon in the nose. Some earth, some yeast, some light fruit comes through in the taste. Light to medium bodied. Finishes lightly sweet. Shrug? Bought this for a missing Sheeps tick. Not my favorite style, and not a very good representative either. Still expecting more from what has been a solid brewery.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
[Tap] Hazy straw colored pour. Quickly receding soapy head. Sweet wheat malt, coriander and grassy notes in the aroma. Flavors are sweet and grainy, with wheat coming through. Not a ton else going on here. Rather thin. Simple overall. Tasting notes from Big Blue Craft Beer Festival in Sheboygan on 10/18/14.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Some faint aroma of orange citrus, mixed in with some sweet wheat and bread. Deep yellow in color, ultra whitehead..thin. Sweet wheat malt up front. Some notes of lemon/orange and some spices. Finishes with some sweetness, and some peppery spices and some bitterness. Would characterize as more of an american wheat due to a slightly more bitter finish than typical beligian white....works.
