Served a tad too cold with a nice, off-white, foamy, head that slowly settled and good lacing. Color is a clear, slightly pale yellow with loads of bubble trails. Aroma is heavy wheat, malt, hint of spice and fruit. Flavor is like nose, good balance between the 3 major taste components of sweet, bitter, and carbonic tang. Both smell and taste aren’t so much Belgian Wit as half-way between Wit and American Wheat; the Belgian characteristics are there but muted. Body is good, would be better if a little warmer; carbonation good. Finish is like flavor, short in length, and drinkable.

Draft. From notes. Medium sweet with baking spices, Belgian yeast and candi sugar. Pretty good.

On tap at Milwaukee Brew Fest 2013. Pour is golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is grainy and sweet - tangy orange, cloves, wheat. Flavor is similar with a residual wheat finish.

Not a good example of this style. More like an American Wheat. Don’t taste and spice what so ever. A very large head that took a while to dissipate. Very disappointed.

Pleasant enough, and with such low alcohol and calorie counts that I’m guessing quite a few on a summer day might be quite enjoyable. Really needed to bury my nose in the glass to get a hint of a freshly mowed country field. Couldn’t pick up any of the traditional witbier spices in the aroma or taste. Will have to try again on a summer day.

Absolutely one of my favorite wits. Subtle but still interesting. Taste the wheat.

Citrus aroma, clear golden color. Light body with a little bit of a bitter finish.

On tap @ the Über Tap Room in the Wisconsin Cheese Shop, Milwaukee. Light yellow, thin white head. Rather simple wheat character tainted by a rubbery plastic phenolic note in the aroma. Thin, boring. Would not have pegged this to be a Belgian wit.

Aroma is spices/coriander, wheat and a hint of candy sugar. The flavor is spices, wheat, orange flavored candy and a tart finish.

12 oz bottle. (Riley’s) Madison, WI.
Cloudy yellow golden colour with a medium size foamy white head. Mild aroma of wheat, sugar and yeast. The flavour is pretty much the same. Very boring and tasteless. American Wheat Ale at it’s lamest.

Bottle. Slightly hazy yellow gold pour with a small white head. Wheat and lager yeast aroma. Slightly sweet taste. Feels artificial.
