3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Served a tad too cold with a nice, off-white, foamy, head that slowly settled and good lacing. Color is a clear, slightly pale yellow with loads of bubble trails. Aroma is heavy wheat, malt, hint of spice and fruit. Flavor is like nose, good balance between the 3 major taste components of sweet, bitter, and carbonic tang. Both smell and taste arenít so much Belgian Wit as half-way between Wit and American Wheat; the Belgian characteristics are there but muted. Body is good, would be better if a little warmer; carbonation good. Finish is like flavor, short in length, and drinkable.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Not a good example of this style. More like an American Wheat. Donít taste and spice what so ever. A very large head that took a while to dissipate. Very disappointed.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pleasant enough, and with such low alcohol and calorie counts that Iím guessing quite a few on a summer day might be quite enjoyable. Really needed to bury my nose in the glass to get a hint of a freshly mowed country field. Couldnít pick up any of the traditional witbier spices in the aroma or taste. Will have to try again on a summer day.

Absolutely one of my favorite wits. Subtle but still interesting. Taste the wheat.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap @ the ‹ber Tap Room in the Wisconsin Cheese Shop, Milwaukee. Light yellow, thin white head. Rather simple wheat character tainted by a rubbery plastic phenolic note in the aroma. Thin, boring. Would not have pegged this to be a Belgian wit.

Aroma is spices/coriander, wheat and a hint of candy sugar. The flavor is spices, wheat, orange flavored candy and a tart finish.
