COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imperial black wheat infused with a custom blend of Alterra Coffee)
We at 3 Sheeps love our coffee. We also love our beer. This union was inevitable. The sweet and roasty notes of the Sumatra coffee dance merrily with the smooth, roasty, and chocolate hints found in our Baaad Boy Black Wheat. If you are a coffee fan, this is not a beer you want to miss out on.

Tap at Old Fashioned. Unfiltered brown-black body. Not much of a head...soapy beige residue. Massive coffee flavors. Enjoyable. Full coffee blast. Medium to full bodied. Rich, sweet brown sugar tones. Respectable coffee beer.

Bottle thanks to respertFTW. Near black with essentially no head. Dark chocolate and espresso aromas. Similar flavors with some sugar. Deep and rich. Great stuff.

Bottled. Poured black with a well-retained, sticky beige head.. looked great! The aroma picked up lots of coffee (sweet and tangy notes) joined by spicy, kind of dank wheat.. you need like coffee to enjoy that smell. The flavor found a wash of cold coffee from the front through the back of the palate.. some meaty wheat and more coffee at the core.. finished with burnt coffee and chocolate joined by a hit of tangy wheat. Medium-bodied, dry, and tangy on the palate.. moderate, rolling carbonation moved it well through the mouth.. tasty stuff.

Malts, coffee, cocoa. Pours nearly black with a slight medium brown foam. Nice flavor of malt, coffee, cocoa. This so not a spiced/herb beer in my tasting. In fact beeradvocate categorizes this beer as a American Dark Wheat Ale which I believe is accurate. Nice palate finish and a really nice beer.

Taster on tap at Old Fashioned in Madison, Wisconsin. Brown color. Nice light brown head. Leaves good thicker lace. Awesome big coffee aroma up front on this, nice mild roast, some light dark chocolate, mild dark fruit. Medium-plus body, full kind of chewy mouthfeel. Light slick texture. Moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Great coffee stout! Really like it.

Draft. Huge coffee in the nose, somewhat fruity. Flavor is nuttier toastier coffee, cacao nibs, and its nciely dry. Beaut.

Bottle @ home. Thanks, Jake. Pours dark brown with a small khaki head. Aromas of coffee, copper, and roasted malt. Kind of nutty. A bit of toffee and licorice. Flavor is a bit acidic and heavy on the coffee. A fair amount of roast as well as some dirt and ash. Mild malt sweetness. Not really a fan.
