Glad to see my hometown producing a quality beer. Floral and fruity aroma with the perfect amount of hops.

Poured from a bottle to a shaker glass. Rich, foamy, lasting head sits on a nice, deep gold beer. Average aroma with hints of malt and orange. Flavor is quite malt forward with a mellow sweetness of caramel and toffee followed by a palate cleansing burst of hops. Definitely more brown than the green of a big west coast IPA. Not bad, but sweeter than a typical IPA, although it does have a good, bitter finish and a nice mouth feel throughout. Iím going to have to think about this one for a while and probably come back and re-rate eventually.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2014 Dark golden amber color. Darker then most IPAs. Nice citrus pineapple aroma. Very bitter taste. Lots of citrus flavor. I get pineapple and some grapefruit tastes. For the price, this is an excellent beer.

An excellent all-round IPA. Not so bold and high ABV as to be an occasional drink, yet not without aroma, great flavor and balance. My go-to IPA.

This stuff smelled fantastic as a poured it but didnít quite deliver on expectations--though it is still definitely a good beer. It is a cloudy amber beer with a small head that leaves behind little patches of lace. Nose is initially bright and vibrant but wanes to a earthy piny smell which is not quite as great. It is good and strong though. This is a bit heavier than I would like for the style and also a little bit on the sweet and sticky side and mild carbonation does little to give it life. Definitely a decent IPA but not as good as I was hoping when I first opened the bottle.

pours a rich gold almost copper with a thick beige head. Aroma is pine, floral, and citrus. taste is bright, hoppy, with a little citrus. Really nice nasal finish with slightly bitter linger. This is a great IPA. Hey felsenpils, I know youíre a German trained brewmaster and supremo beer expert and everything, but you missed the boat on this one.

Bottle @ Richardís Tasting. Orange pour with an off-white head. Floral, spicy, and citrusy hop notes. Some bread, toast, and a bit of lemon peel. Mostly orange zest. Flavor is a touch soapy and sweet. Light bitterness of citrus peel and pine. Floral and spicy notes throughout. Lots of biscuit and bread. Lemony finish.

Murky amber color, strong offensive hop oil aroma, astringent taste, sharp bitterness. This is a very poorly made beer. And although I like West Coast IPAīs, I could not drink this. The hop is like a sharp blade on your tongue. No artistry here, just another example of: "if a little bit is good, a lot is better." 3 Sheeps tastes like homebrew gone terribly wrong.
