COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remember the first time you went left when logic and everyone else told you to go right? When you looked down the road that would safely take you to exactly the same place it always did, and you chose another path? That’s what Really Cool Waterslides is all about: choosing a dream. Looking uncertainty in the eye and whispering menacingly, “Let’s dance.”

Bottle. Pours a light amber in color with a small thin white head that leaves some nice lacing. Citrus hops and sweet caramel malt aromas. Taste is along the same lines with a nice bitter hop peresence. Nicely balanced malt and hop character. Maybe a little too caramel like for me, but it still is nice.

I thought the aroma in this one was very good. It was a bit thinner than what I’d expect from an IPA, but still decent. The taste had a very slight off taste that didn’t come through in the aroma. Overall, a solid brew.

Hazy, gold color. Notable citrus aroma from hops, pine and some malt sweetness. Taste is hop forward with a malt backbone that balances it out some.

A hazed golden IPA with a thick creamy mocha head. In aroma, a sweet fruity caramel malt with pungent British hops, vinous notes, butterscotch. In mouth, a sweet butterscotch malt with grassy citrus hops, not bad. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 19 2012.

Copper- orange with off white head. Decent lacing. Grapefruit, lemon, and mild sweet malt aroma. Full bodied IPA, decent balance, medium hop finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

So far their best beer. Served kind of cold with a small creamy, off-white head, and lots of sheeting lace. Color is a darker, clear amber with some bubble trails. Aroma is hop, resin, a little citrus and malt. Flavor’s like nose; dry at first with hop up front, then carbonic tang, ending with sweet; however, strangely not balanced. Finish is like flavor, average length, a bit boozy.

On tap at Milwaukee Brewfest. Poured medium golden with a well-retained off-white head. The aroma picked up pine and floral hops over sweet caramel.. OK balance to it. The flavor found pale, bready, and light caramel malts at the core, with spicy pine, grapefruit, and black pepper bitterness around.. tasty stuff. Medium-bodied and a touch grainy on the palate.. bitter and warm, but it retained its balance.. I’d have another.

I actually liked this one. Not up there on the hop scale but pleasant and done with thought.

I believe this was on tap at The Old Fashionioned, pours a light amberish orange with a decent head and some lacing, the aroma is mostly of floral hops with a little bit of citrus, not bad, the flavor has a nice amount of hop bitterness with a good amount of citrus in the finish, nice mouthfeel, pretty solid.

Amber in color. Citrus pine and grapefruit. Light caramel backbone. Perfectly matched backbone of caramel malt and pine/citrus/grapefruit. Nice bitter finish. Great mouthfeel from all the hops.
