Remember the first time you went left when logic and everyone else told you to go right? When you looked down the road that would safely take you to exactly the same place it always did, and you chose another path? That’s what Really Cool Waterslides is all about: choosing a dream. Looking uncertainty in the eye and whispering menacingly, “Let’s dance.”

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2014 Add some peach to the aroma and taste. 3/10/13 - Nice grapefruit-citrus, resin and floral, and hint of roastiness in the nose. Pours faintly cloudy, copper amber. Fluffy of white head; recedes to a thin sheet of foam. Flavor is hop-bitter forward, again a faint backdrop of roasted grain, suggestion of pepper. A slight fizz keeps the flavors refreshing on the tonque. Seems like an OK IPA, though my experience with IPA?s is slight.

Quick bottle at home. A basic IPA, showing heavy malts and some tropical fruit notes over a simple hop profile. Dry finish. Not too bad.

12 oz. bottle. Pours amber copper with a tight frothy off white head that settles to a thin film and lacing. Aroma is sweet caramel malts soft spice also soft pine spruce. Taste is stale bitter hops with plenty of sweet caramel malt hops are stale like I said and show some pine spruce notes with a big spice finish. Palate is medium chalky and little dry. Will need to revisit this one.

An impressive IPA! A really complex palate of hops and fruits and a variety of flavors: starts hoppy strong and finishes fruity hoppy. Looks great too. The aroma smells just a little too much of a stale bar bathroom. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Flight at HopCat in Madison. Clear orange/amber. Was very earthy which made the hops more rich in flavor. There wasn’t much of a bite, which is nice. I’m not an IPA person, but this was very fresh -- a sweet citrus -- still with hops flavor, but not overwhelming.

Pours a clear orange gold color with off-white head. Floral notes, citrus, and grass on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a nice citrus note.

Sampled from the tap at the St. Paul Summer Beer Fest. Pours a clear orangish amber with a tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma is resinous with musty grain and some earthy grass. Flavor has musty and earthy grains with a bit of bitter citrus and a touch of sweetness.

Dark orange in appearance. Big hop nose of citrus and floral notes. Hops hit you right up front with a similar profile to the nose, pleasant bitterness throughout, but smooth finish with a sweetish malt backbone.

This beer pours a hazy dark orange with a medium off-white head that fades slowly. The aroma has a strong caramel malt backbone, but there is an undeniable amount of floral, spruce, and resin hops. The taste is slightly bitter, slightly sour, and a touch sweet with a finish that has some grassy flavor to it. The palate has a sticky texture, medium-full body, and a soft carbonation, bit these elements don’t really work together.

Pour on tap at Red Cow, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of orange, grapefruit, some caramel, toffee into some slight grass. Taste was a mix of grass, orange, grapefruit into some bread, slight cracker, finishing bitter, slightly dry.
