COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Remember the first time you went left when logic and everyone else told you to go right? When you looked down the road that would safely take you to exactly the same place it always did, and you chose another path? That’s what Really Cool Waterslides is all about: choosing a dream. Looking uncertainty in the eye and whispering menacingly, “Let’s dance.”

Bottle. Copper/orange color with a cream colored head. Nice resiny and citrus aromas. Aggressively bitter upfront and then mellows out and falls flat.

Had on tap. Slightly hazy golden color with light carbonation and decent lacing. Strong floral aroma. Decent bitterness with a small malt backbone. Earthy aftertaste that is reminiscent of cardboard. Decent, drinkable IPA.

I’ve been living in Wisconsin for 2 months now, and granted, I’ve only tried IPAs from about 25 breweries, but this is the best so far.

12oz bottle. Hazy orange-gold body. Steady, creamy off-white head. Cool, sugar edged crisp hop aroma. Sort of one-dimensional, but has an enjoyable enough hop tone. Mediocre product, sort of offensive and inauthentic to experienced drinkers. Not bad, just really mediocre.

Aroma is very hoppy, citrus and fruity. Taste is very hop forward, citrus, sweet fruit, and tiny touch of caramel, not much for a malty backbone but I still really like this beer. This brewery knows how to work with hops, looking forward to more!!!

12 oz. bottle, labeled as “3 Sheeps Really Cool Waterslides India Pale Ale.” Highly aromatic: Dry, chalky smell features peach, pine, grapefruit, and orange scents. Good American IPA smell. Pours a slightly hazy but mostly clear, dark brass color. Dirt-y look. Moderate to large amount of light beige head. Pretty good lacing. Dry, piney, sharp, and tangy flavor features grapefruit, peach, and tonic water elements. Dry spice in the finish. What you want from an American IPA in taste, although not very good balance (not much malt element in the flavor). Easy to drink. Light to medium body. Lively in the palate. Good, solid, but not great IPA.

Bottle - Not sure how long this was sitting on the shelves, but it wasn’t too long after these 6 packs started popping up. Pours clear amber with a foamy off-white head. Nose is sharp and piney hops, almost astringent and boozy, with some sweet malt. Taste isn’t as sharp, but the malt is still sweet. Grassy and sharp finish. Slick in the mouth with medium carbonation. Too sweet and sharp for my tastes.

Nice grapefruit-citrus, resin and floral, and hint of roastiness in the nose. Pours faintly cloudy, copper amber. Fluffy of white head; recedes to a thin sheet of foam. Flavor is hop-bitter forward, again a faint backdrop of roasted grain, suggestion of pepper. A slight fizz keeps the flavors refreshing on the tonque. Seems like an OK IPA, though my experience with IPA’s is slight.
