Cask at Big Hunt. Great brown flavor with a good bit of alcohol. The cocoa makes it bitter but in the right way and the vanilla adds some sweetness.

Cask. Pours deep, dark brown with thin, fizzy tan head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is roasted and caramel malts, plums, raisins, vanilla, chocolate, and light woody notes. Flavor is heavy chocolate, cocoa, roasted malts, light toffee, earthy hops, and dark fruit; dry finish. Medium/full body and low carbonation.

Pitch Black, barely carbonated. Essentially a chocolate and vanilla bomb that manages to keep sweetness to a manageable level. Long lingering finish. Would serve as a great after dinner drink.

On cask at church key in DC. Pours black with a large bubble tan head. Cheesy chocolate aroma. Chocolate dominates the flavor. Somewhat thin mouthfeel. Lingering mild bitter finish.

Growler thanks to Travlr. Pours a full haze deep mahogany. Bubbles, no head formation. Nose is rich hazelnut and vanilla coffee, mill chocolate, earthy spice. Taste is richer hazelnut, some rum raisin, coffee. Palate is thinner, a bit chalky/papery. Nice stuff. Some black cherry liquor.
