Tap. Pours a slightly hazy yellow gold body under a foamy one inch white head that left some source lacing. The nose is kinda weird, there’s a bit of spice with some yeastiness, but also an odd bubblegum like note that seems out of place. The flavor is not very peppercorn-centric, in fact I might not guess that there were any in here even. A little yeastiness and some bready notes on the finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Ok beer I suppose, but not up my alley for the style.

On tap @ Logan Tavern Washington DC. Pours a nearly clear gold with almost no head. Aromas are typical of a Belgian wheat (clove/banana). Tastes are essentially the same. Medium body and carbonation, short to medium clove finish. Not what I was expecting but a pleasant beer more in the style of a Belgian Wit than a saison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Had on draft at ACBF as Peppercorn Saison. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with creamy white head. Nose is fruity with slight peppery notes. Taste a touch on the sweet side. Medium body. Moderate carbonation. Quite tasty! I think this beer has been underrated.

Norms Beer and Wine, Vienna Virginia 750ml: Pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk, plenty of spice, hints of pepper... all around very saisonesque. Taste is very spicy. The peppercorns add a little bit, but not as much as some other beers in this style. A little bit of sweetness. A spicy aftertaste this has. Not bad. I think the aroma is better than the taste.
