3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Pizzeria Paradiso, Washington, D.C. Typical burnt orange body, off-white head for DIPA. But this is one of the better ones. A nice citrus and bitter hop flavor powered by a blanaced malt background.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught from the brewery. Pours with a big rocky head and lots of lace, hazy gold. Aroma is very light for such a big IPA but is caramel, hop acids, ripe tropical fruit. The flavor is very sweet, vegetal hops, acids, and bracing bitter end. Feel is very thick and alive for an DIPA. This is a strange DIPA.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask at Paradiso Georgetown. Full haze, murky orange. Weak foam. Spots of lace. Nose is mild vinegar, hints of tropical hops, squash. Taste is chalky, lots of sticky orange candies. Palate is medicinal, chalky, fairly anesthetic. Possibly due to Paradisoís infamous tap system but also undoubtedly due to Americans not knowing how to cask condition beer and properly serve them.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Churchkey. Poured a clear orange color with a small white head. Aroma was mangoes, with notes of light pleasant pine and peaches. Flavor had the malts and hops relatively balanced, but still delivers a great hop punch. Flavor had tropical fruits, notably mango, with some light pitted fruits. Alcohol is only slightly evident. For locals, it reminded me a bit of a lighter version of DC Brauís On the Wings of Armageddon.
