Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with an orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and citrus. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and caramel, leading to a dry bitter finish. Huge thanks to yespr for sharing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Hazy amber golden with a frothy off-white head. Fresh citrusy nose. Medium-bodied with some fruit and caramel and also a whiff of elderflower. Rather hoppy finish with a whiff of citrus and alcohol. I put this down at the blind tasting as an ESB/IPA. 290508

Muddy amber color, creamy head. The aroma is quite perfumy, with honey and caramel and nuts; the caramel flavor is quite dry; it has a good body strength; what the yeast made good for the aroma, didn’t work for the flavor, a bit too harsh. Quite strong bitterness and high alcohol perception.

Beautiful red-amber color; thick head. Aroma of sugars, herbal hops, chocolate. Medium body, caramel with enough roasted malt and medium malt acidity and chocolate.

Bottiglia a 75 cl, a cortesia di SHIG - grazie, signore! My first beer of Italian beer trip 2010, #1. Murky brown color, large tan head. Aroma of fresh grass, light spice. Taste is bitter throughout, light summer fruits, some caramel. Decent enough.
