COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Birra color tonaca di frate doppio malto prodotta con malti aromatici. Il suo gusto caldo e morbido la colloca nelle birre da meditazione. Il suo sapore evolve con l'invecchiamento.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a rim of orangey head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and caramel, as well as light notes of wood. The flavor has strong notes of caramel as well as light notes of prunes, cinnamon, and alcohol, but also with an edge of acidity, leading to a dry bitter and woody finish. Huge thanks to yespr for sharing.

Bottle at Taste Firenze. Brown with a pretty head. Aroma of chocolate malts and spices. Light body, big chocolate flavor, spices and a dry finish. Nice, could have a thicker body.

A Mes rate: bottle at home thanks to Mario.
Red amber with a good beige head. Good looking beer. Slight pukey malt on the nose. Big and fruity in the mouth. Lots of alcohol showing. Slight burnt plastic, some treacle. Burnt sugar finish. Rather dull but nice enough.

Bottle expired 2 (two!) years ago. Clear brown with a huge lacing off-white head. The aroma is malty sweet, a bit oxidized, but in a pleasant way. Fruity, with a cinnamon touch. In mouth is sweet, warming, balanced. A solid Italian Belgian beer.

750 ml bottle.A cloudy dark amber beer with a huge, creamy and quite persistent light brown head. The aroma is nice, with notes of roasted malt, caramel and nuts. Some dark fruits too. The flavour has a moderate sweetness, and again is roasty, nutty, more than average Belgian style ale. Medium body, lively carbonation, long finish with light to medium bitterness, lightly alcoholic. Good, solid beer.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy orangey brown with a small and bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel and nuts. Medium body with a bubbly almost violent carbonation. Some notes of burned caramel, nuts and English toffee. Dry and lightly hoppy finish. Appears more British than Belgian to me. 290508

Bottle 75cl @ [ Mafioso Blind Tasting @ yespr, Bottle #03.]
Light unclear amber color with a average, frothy, fair lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, spiced malt, sugar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (300508)
