Spiced top-fermented ale made with spelt and barley malt, bottle conditioned.
Appearance: white, compact, fine and persistent head; lemony colour.
Bouquet: floral notes, aromas of exotic fruit with a slight citrussy acidity and hints of straw, hay and bread crumbs.
Flavour: refreshing, slightly acidulous (due to the spices), in which malt and hops are delicately blended. Quaffable beer with a medium body, although with more texture than other products in the same category.

Cerveja Italiana acima da media, mesmo com 4 anos de vencida. Não entendi direito se é de trigo, mas pode ser por causa do meu grau alcoólico.

Typical witbeer looks, although a way too bubbly head. Simple malts, light citrus, spices, wheat. Light and simple, but not pleasant to drink because of the oddly big bubbled carbonation. Its okay, nothing special. (On tap at the Paris International Beer Celebration festival during the 1FRBG)

This is not a very complex beer at all, you need to keep it in your mouth for a long time to pick up the very subtle flavours.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit ordentlichem Schaum. Geruch leicht hefig, leicht fruchtig, Gewürze. Geschmack hefig würzig, leicht fruchtig.

Drunk at Belli e Buoni in Brussels. Very pleasant pale ale that resembles a wheat beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle with BB date of 30/1/14. A hazy yellow beer with decent white head. Typical Belgian Wit aromas of orange peel, leafy coriander and wheat malts with subtle lemony citrus. Palate is thickish and oily with a drier finish than your average Witbier and a slight alcoholic burn. Somehow strangely unrefreshing.

750ml, foiled, capped with a funky synthetic cork. Bright golden, hazed with big foamy white head that settles nicely. Powdery clove, light cotton candy, purée banana, very light pepper. Slightly chewy feel, nice medium effervescent carbonation. Subtle balance of wheat, clove, banana, cotton candy, green apple finish, with light dryness throughout. Maybe a bit with the sweetness and green apple for the style, but serviceable. Thanks tex for sharing.

Bottle, bought in Italy. Pours hazy yellow with a small, fizzy, white head. Aroma has mild citrus, good doughy malts and wheat. Medium to high carbonation, very dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, herbal, quite a bit of coriander, citrus zest. Lingering dryish bitter finish.

Pours a light orange with more yellow tints at the bottom of the glass. Aroma is very Belgian like. It is called a pale ale but this seems more a light tripel. It has the spiciness and the vanilla notes that I tend to taste first and foremost in that style. There is a little bit of citrus at the far back of this one as well. A nice bit of pop to it as well.

Bottle from DOC. Very tasty wheat ale. Aromas of coriander, banana, and bubblegum. Taste is sweet, with sour notes, and average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Yellow, cloudy, with no head.
