My Bottom Line:
This authentic Belgian-style Ale seduces with its inherent spicy and herbal hop character and its masterfully carved, comfortable mouthfeel. Its doughy yeast and extremely delicate personality make it very drinkable, yet somewhat unmemorable.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sumptuous head of foam garnishes the cloudy blond.
-Some fruitiness develops in the white grape/pear range.
-Perhaps the bottle we had was not as fresh as the previous two raters’ as the nose and flavor profile were quite tame.
-Appearance and body though are without reproach, a quintessential Belgian-style creation.

Bottle.

Not much of an aroma, grassy, light sourness. taste is grass, hay, sour, light fruitiness, citrus. Palate is nice and carbonated. overall seems lacking in much substance. Flavor isn’t bad, but there’s no depth. a bit flat.

Birra chiara molto luppolata con schiuma bianca e persistente. Colore chiaro con riflessi ramati. Note di caramello e sentori erbacei. Sapore equilibrato tra il caramello e l’amaro. Birra corposa. Carbonazione bassa. Discreta

Pours a hazy light yellow. Had quite the eruption upon opening. A light herbal aroma. A light bitter taste mixed with a note of toast. A little bit of citrus as well. Simple but tasty.

La migliore a mio giudizio della gamma 32ViaDeiBirrai...aroma complesso con sentori di frutta gialla e lievito, al palato scorre bene con finale ancora dominato dalla frutta

750ml bottle from Archive. Lots of summer fruits in the aroa with peach, nectarine and apricot dominating with melon also coming through. Hazy bright golden amber colour with white foam that laces the glass. Big fruity flavours that fill the mouth. Those Italians sure can Mke great beer.

Bottle, bought in Italy. Pours clear golden with a medium, frothy, white head. Aroma has light apple, crisp malts, some pine and grapefruit. Medium carbonation, fine dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has quite a bit of malts, doughy, light biscuity. Then quite a firm bitterness sets in. Piney, zesty, grapefruit. Lingering heavy bitterness.

Bottle at DOC, Melbourne. Nice and hoppy ale. Aromas of caramel, flowers, grapefruit, and some butter. Taste is sweet and bitter, with average length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Dark yellow, with a big frothy head.

Bottle, from my friend. Hazy orange yellow colored beer with thick long lasting white head. Aroma of malt, citrus fruit, spices. Malty sweet, fruity taste with yeast and spices. Nice bitterness in spicy finish. Good.

Fresh yeasty aroma, crisp and dry. Tastes of a basic Belgian pale with subtle clove flavour.

Hazy gold beer. Sweet appley nose. Slightly dry palate. Appleish and sweet and also pretty floral. Light biscuit malt and then a dry finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Easy drinking beer - a little different.
