Bottle. Weak malt and hops aroma. Unclear yellow colour with huge soft white head. Slightly bitter flavour with some fruits and citrus. Sweet head flavour. Soft mouthfeel. Improves when temperature goes up with more hops flavour.

Hazy gold beer. Sweet appley nose. Slightly dry palate. Appleish and sweet and also pretty floral. Light biscuit malt and then a dry finish. Mildly bitter aftertaste. Easy drinking beer - a little different.

Grima (1571) - Saarburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - FEB 22, 2012
The beer in the glass is orange yellow, very cloudy, with much pearly, soapy foam. It smells hoppy and fruity, with plenty of yeast in the background. Starts yeasty and sour, with lots of fruit flavor and aroma hops. The finish is very fruity and yeasty ferment, with a little hop flavor.

KyotoLefty (3743) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 6, 2012
75 cl bottle from Takashimaya in Kyoto. Expensive stuff. Tangy hop nose, lots of citrus and grass, light malt, some minerals and sulfur. Very lemony and slightly peppery. Nice. Cloudy gold, almost pastel, with a thin lacy head. Very lemony flavor, sweet and tart and bitter. Like a lemon-and-hop gelato! With passion fruit, grapefruit (actually, more like Japanese buntan), grass, very bitter finish. Very interesting stuff. New wave hoppy Belgian blonde from Italia? I love it. Huge bitter finish. Fun and original.

Regalo natalizio di Gian, non mi è dispiaciuta, altrove la considerano una APA, in realtà il fruttato sembra provenire dal lievito, ed è discretamente bilanciata con l’amaro.

On bottle 75cl, a very good beer. A little bit bitter and hoppy it has a flat head and a brown colour. Sedimentation is present at the bottom. Very easy to drink and well balanced. Very good job. Just one disappointing thing: the choice of using that kind of silicon top is absurd. It crumbled very soon using a classic corkscrew. I had to use pliers to pull it out!!! Furthermore, I never need to close again the bottle because I always finish it in one time. It’s not a 9L bottle!

Bottle (in Australia). After the disappointment of the Witbier, this was very enjoyable, especially the yeasty spice.
