0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20
Une bière de lycéen qui a un magnifique goût de flotte mélangé à du malt, une vraie catastrophe.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Green 25cl bottle: part of a pack bought for my son, he’ll drink anything.
Poured into a chalice on 23 Feb 14, the 4th beer in a random beer tasting evening with myself.
Basic French supermarket cheap beer.
Grainy, metallic and nasty.
Looks OK: clear, bright and golden, no head though.
Not something I could recommend. It might be OK in a hot sweaty kitchen or in the sun, but fails drastically on a damp, dark, cold evening in February, even with heating on in my Shropshire home:I’d give it a miss if I was you!

0.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20
250 ml green bottle with screwed crown cap bought at CitySuper in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
Pale dull golden colour; No head and faint residual white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Minimal lacing with notable carbonation; Extremely pungent smell of skunked hops which can be smelt a foot away, with malt, strong grains, light bread and mustyness; Close to light sweet taste of very thin malt, with strong grains, water, wet cardboard, faint lemon and stinky grass; Light body. watery palate; Mouth feel is under the spell of skunked hops, is essentially water - not even beer-water, but plain water - malt taste is next to zero, lots of Cornish grains and wet paper. That’s it. Yeah!... Hoppiness is super skunk nose which carried onto the taste plus bits of lemon. No bitterness, just H2O finish; Wet after taste. Awful plus plain and boring to mouth.
Comments: The “33” I had when I was young was pretty crisp, neat and quite tasty. That was then and this is now. Green bottle and screwed crown cap is perfect combo for mediocrity, but off-tastes aside there’s really no malt, rivaling the Amercian macros. This is so bad I almost laughed out loud. A sure-fire drain pours!

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. This poured a clear, yellow color with a small sized white head. Aroma was mellow malts, adjunct skunk some light earthy hop character. Flavor was light lager malts - some light skunky sweetness. Mostly inoffensive, watery.
