Light amber colour with a slightly frothy head which soon subsides. Slightly sweet - better when served really cold.

Bottle. Not very good. Deep gold color, decent head. Taste is like straw and hay from the field and some sweetness. Aroma is straw and watery.

Thin and watery, little taste or aroma, just kind of sickly sweet. reminds me of coors light with a touch more grain. cheap beer taste for a premium beer price. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl can. Thereís just no way to tell who makes this stuff. A google search turned up evidence that it is brewed by Heineken and so Iím going with that. Iíve found other claims of origin and my guess is that it is contract brewed by any local generic lager brewer. Looks clear yellow and fizzy. No head retention whatsoever. More color than Coors Light is the kindest I can say. Smells tinny and astringent.

Bottle from 99 Ranch Market: Poured a medium gold darker than most other pale lager piss water beers. Created a thick frothy layer of foam head. Aroma smells sweet with grain and adjuncts such as rice or corn that just so happens to smell like every other pale lager piss water beers. The taste of the beer is bland but suggests undesirable bitterness paired with the taste of adjuncts. Doesnít taste as good as it looked.

Small white head. Clear yellow body with carbonation and little dust-like floaties. Light sugary papery bedroom aroma with mealy carpet notes. Dry-sweet cardboard and grain taste with sugary mealy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish grainy perfumy earthy aftertaste with spicy fruity notes. Itís not really bad. I was overdue for a shitty pale lager rate so I grabbed this at the local Pho place. It pours a pale yellow with a soft white head. The nose is rather short with a little grain and a little cardboard. The flavor has a slight metallic tang with a little grain sweetness and a very slight bitterness. Watery on the tongue and overcarbonated. Not overly offensive at least.

12 oz. bottle from Vietnam pours a clear light yellow with one-finger white head. Aroma is practically nonexistent - perhaps a little grass and hay. Body is watery light and fizzy. Taste is not sweet, almost bitter, but with a metallic finish. Iím very disappointed with this one. The only reason I bought it was to try my first beer from Vietnam, but it shows up as another forgettable beer from France here.
