heemer77 (3827), Savannah, Missouri, USA Mar 29, 2004 Updated: Apr 28, 2004 Did we have to punish them with our style of beer as well as our bombs? My bottle looked different. Aroma has malt and corn with a hint of hops. It is the typical light gold color with tons of active carbonation. Flavor is very light and somewhat refreshing. Ah, the Coors Light of Vietnam.
Magjayran (1200), Durham, North Carolina, USA Nov 30, 2008 This is yellow. This is fizzy. This is beer. Bad beer. Sweet and grainy. Swill. It’s not lacking in flavor. It’s bursting with bad flavor. What a waste of time. sebletitje (579), Tampa, Florida, USA Nov 27, 2008 Pours clear golden, white head.
Aroma is very weak. Mostly malts and hints of hops.
Taste is lightly hoppy with notes of malts, giving it a smooth, almost sweet mouthfeel with a light bitter finish.
Not much else to say here, it lacks complexity and body. dkachur (1070), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Nov 27, 2008 12 ounce bottle from somewhere in Richmond, VA. Pours a straw yellow with a large fluffy head. Very nice retention and lacing. The aroma is skunky grains. Very, very grainy and a little sweaty and corny taste with some light grassy notes. very sweet. Thin bodied. Lots of carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. GodOfThunder (160), Orlando, Florida, USA Nov 18, 2008 Yellow color with a white fizzy head and lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom. Smell is malty and like a biscuit. Taste is very light with a slight malt feel. Tastes like typical macro swill, just with a Vietnamese label. mansquito (661), Boston/Philadelphia, USA Sep 25, 2008 Had this in a Vietnamese restaurant. Pours a clear and light color. Not too much to the taste, but it was a nice refreshing little beer to drink along with some Vietnamese food. Lightly grassy, with a little bit of hops in there.
