COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on a Belgian-style Tripel which has a hazy golden hue with hints of banana and clove. Spicy, woodsy hop flavors prevail upfront, giving way to a subdued sweetness in the finish.

On tap at the Iron Hill Belgium Comes to West Chester event. The pour yields a very light colored beer. Lighter than straw and more along the lines of a Berliner. A bit of a head without too much retention. The nose and flavor have a touch of spice and breadiness, but are otherwise quite watery. Body is very light. Somewhat dry. Not a big fan.

12oz bottle pours a clear gold with some hazy, white head. Nose has tropical fruit, mild candy, a little guava, a little musty/stale. Flavor has mild tropical fruit, candy, couch, mild straw. Trashy finish, sadly.

Some florals and some alcohol. Not a lot to this. Golden pour with big head. Tangy finish. Some citrus. Not great for style but drinkable as beer. Bottle.

FROTHINGSLOSH (6197) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2016
Sampled on draft at the Heavy Seas Ale House this beer poured a hazy vibrant gold color with a small creamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was boozy with table sugar, yeastiness and golden fruits. The flavor was tangy and sweetish with table sugar, pepper, cardboard and golden fruits. Turns dryish on the long finish. Moderately full bodied. Pleasant.

Slightly weird label - sandsurfers? Tawny pour with a fast-dropping head. It is a pretty sweet, tropical tripel. Cantaloupe and peach notes, balanced by some sharpness and warmth. This is a good one.

Lightly hazy straw colored body, thin white head, minimal lacing. Cheap champagne, stone fruits, wet hay, and yeasty esters and spice. Medium bodied, a healthy dose of sweetness, moderate to lively carbonation, muddled finish.

Bottle from Liquid Assets. Golden body. Sweet and malty nose. Taste is malts, honey, caramel. Quite nice. Lots of floral. Sweet and quite alcy finish. Pretty good.
