COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is one monster of a Brown Ale! We used an obnoxious amount of chocolate malt and roasted barley to give this beer a cast iron backbone. Our Oatmeal Brown pours a dark mahogany with aromas of dark chocolate and coffee.

Pours a dark brown color with off-white head, almost tan head. Roasted malt, coffee, rolled oats, and a hint of chocolate on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with just a pinch of sweetness and micr roasted flavors.

12 ounce can. Pours a dark copper brown color with a medium- sized creamy tan head. Aroma is malty sweet with notes of cocoa and toasted walnuts. Flavor is slightly metallic with notes of cocoa, nuts and oats. Medium bodied with some herbal hops in midtaste. Finishes dry and chewy.

Dark dark brown pour with no head. Aroma of oatmeal, Carmel, rich cocoa, and a bit of iron. Carbonation on the flat side, viscous oily mouthfeel, clean effervescent finish. Flavors match the nose but a bit acidic and rooty. Decent brown that borders more on a porter.

12 oz can from a 6-pack I picked up while in St. Louis last week. Pours a deep brown with an amber hue. Small tan head that faded pretty quickly and leaves a bit of lacing that mostly slides back down into the beer. Aroma of hazelnut, walnut, caramel, chocolate, toast. Taste is very nutty upfront. Definitely getting hazelnut, walnut and a bit of almond followed by caramel, toasted white bread, chocolate, coffee, and even a little bit of spicy rye. Dry finish of nuts and toasty malts. Medium bodied, slick texture, average carbonation. Overall a very nice brown ale. Easy drinker, smooth and refreshing. Certainly worth your time and money!

Can. Pours a deep reddish brown with a fizzy tan head. A few floaties accumulate on the bottom of my glass. Nose is yeasty, caramel malt, earthy. Mouthfeel is very creamy. Coffee, brown sugar/ caramel, nutty notes, vanilla. Finishes sweet and a little roasty. Too sweet for me...

12oz bottle. Unfiltered brown-burgundy body. Thin beige head. Quite sweet, the oats really give it a nice body. Solid example of the style, well brewed. Sweet caramel and chocolate...faint vanilla, roasted peanut. Comes together quite well. Good stuff.

Not good like I expected. Too light on flavor. Scent is great but the taste is low. Bottle

Chopped chocolate and hefty malt nose. A hint of spice and burnt caramel. First sip is smooth and velvety. Chocolate, roasted almond. Sweet finish that lingers. A delicious beer!
