I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a tan head. Taste burnt malt, chocolate, sweet. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle shared by phaleslu (06/2013). Pours a cola brown color with a large fluffy beige head. The aroma and flavor have moderate roasted malt, big milk chocolate, lactose, brown sugar with light bitterness to the finish. Hints of vanilla; tasty, but lighter bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Brownish-black pour with a medium creamy beige head that diminishes quickly to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of milk chocolate, sweet malt and a bit of brown sugar. The finish is sweet with a lingering cocoa aftertaste. Above average overall.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours brown black with khaki suds. Nice chocolatey roasted aroma. Bitter roasted malt flavor with not as much chocolate coming thru but a nice smooth creamy palate. There is a solid lactose feel but not quite enough sweetness to match the heavy roast. Lingering bitter near burnt malt with some coffeeish tones and lactose creaminess. Decent but I would like to try it on nitro.

The nose is crazy coffee. Coffee, coffee and more coffee. Velvety smooth palate and tastes like a chocolate covered espresso bean

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This was from oa 22 oz bottle courtesy of my St. Louis area trading partner Strykzone. Poured a dark brown, with and huge tan head and good lacing. The nose if roasted malts but mostly it is chocolate. The body is medium and the mouthfeel is carbonated and smooth. Flavor is very rich in the chocolate. The finish shows some roasted malt but the chocolate continues to dominate. Very well done and great drinking.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle, shared by phaleslu. Dark brown color, clear still. Good thin light brown head. Some loose bits of lace, cocoa nibs in the nose, some bitter hops. Nice sweet taste, light bitter. Good chocolate milk to the flavor. Easy to drink, just the right amount of sweet. Medium body. Lighter, crisp carbonation. Light chewiness. Nice, kind of refreshing, easy drinking chocolate milk stout.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
22 oz. bottle via local STL trade. Pours a clear brown with amber highlights and a small beige head after gushing slightly upon initially opening it. The aroma is very milky and creamy, too much so for me. But the flavor is really nice and chocolaty, with milk chocolate and cocoa nibs, nuts, brown sugar, toast, and earth. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a chocolaty, smooth mouthfeel.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is sugary milk chocolate, looks pitch black with off white head, some lacing. Taste is authentic chocolate, not super heavy. Delicious.
