Pours a deep black color with a frothy airy Java head. Nose is sweet chocolate with a very mild astringency and funk. Taste is deep and bold chocolate, not overly sweet but accompanied by heavy malt. Finish is sweet chocolate malt and moderately long. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Cola brown color with thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, and roasted malt. Milk chocolate sweetness dominates with some roasted malt at the back end. Very nice.

Had on tap at their place. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Flavor is milk chocolate. No roast. Slightly sweet decent beer but I don't like the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Antioch. Brown pour, sweet chocolate vanilla, light caramel, maybe some nut. A bit thin. Quite sweet. Very nice - this brewery continues to impress. 14.3

Dark reddish-black pour with a brown head. Aroma is cocoa, lactose and chocolate. Taste is the sweetness of lactose bombarded by cocoa and chocolate. Roasted malt in the background. Super tasty. Dry finish. OK lacing.

On tap at Seven Saints in Champaign. Dark pour, small head. Aroma of roast and chocolate, very nice flavor follows the smell closely. Easy drinking. This is excellent.

Pours a very dark brown with a medium, smooth, darker tan head. A sweet smelling aroma does give a clear impression of chocolate milk. Additionally, there is cocoa and lighter vanilla. The taste is very sweet, although not to much as to render this undrinkable. Its fairly straight forward, a big dose of chocolate and cocoa, some roasted malts that are more mild, and hints of earthiness. There is a short aftertaste of cocoa and chocolate. Its light in body, with a thin, very creamy texture, and is absent in carbonation. This is good, but a little to sweet for my taste.

Draft at Olympic. From notes. Loads of chocolate. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, brownies. Great.

Dark color pour from 12 oz can. Hoppy aroma paired with malt, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is same. Silky smooth and well balanced. Just a bit one dimensionally sweet. Not a filling stout which makes it easier to drink.

Can - Pours cola with a foamy light tan head. Nose is chocolate, a bit nutty, with cocoa, a touch of coffee, and rich dark malt. Taste is wave after wave of chocolate, mellow, dry, and nutty, with a bit of coffee in the finish. Milky and sweet--just decadent. Thin and watery with mellow carbonation. A bit gritty. Really nice stuff.
