Pours dark with a tan head. Notes of chocolate and malt. First taste is sweet then coffee bitterness. Very good beer if you like sweet stouts.

Bottle - big tan colored thick creamy head, black color, definite chocolate and roasted malt aroma and flavor, not overly sweet though which is good ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Definitely not my favorite milk stout, but a good beer just because it IS a chocolate milk stout nonetheless! Lots of carbonation- wish it was smoother and more like real chocolate milk in the mouthfeel. Not a full enough body to call it a stout...just a porter here.

I had this at Global Brew. Pours black with a tan head. Taste burnt malt, chocolate, sweet. I thought this was so so. I could drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle shared by phaleslu (06/2013). Pours a cola brown color with a large fluffy beige head. The aroma and flavor have moderate roasted malt, big milk chocolate, lactose, brown sugar with light bitterness to the finish. Hints of vanilla; tasty, but lighter bodied.

Sample at Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar. Brownish-black pour with a medium creamy beige head that diminishes quickly to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of milk chocolate, sweet malt and a bit of brown sugar. The finish is sweet with a lingering cocoa aftertaste. Above average overall.

Pours brown black with khaki suds. Nice chocolatey roasted aroma. Bitter roasted malt flavor with not as much chocolate coming thru but a nice smooth creamy palate. There is a solid lactose feel but not quite enough sweetness to match the heavy roast. Lingering bitter near burnt malt with some coffeeish tones and lactose creaminess. Decent but I would like to try it on nitro.
