Pours an opaque black with 2 finger foamy tan head leaving mild lacing. Aroma of dark chocolate with hint of espresso and roasted malt. Hint of herbal hops. Mildly bitter throughout with a touch of sweet at the end. Long bitter finish. Full bodied, moderately carbonated. Sticky palate. Good overall beer. Surprised the average rating on this one is so low.

Draft at Baileys range. Pours coca cola brown with a thin khaki head. Doesn’t leave much lacing. Big, huge, massive chocolate notes on the nose. Beautiful! I get a bit of the lactose on the tongue but when the chocolate is this massively good who can complain. Finishes clean. Nice!

Purchased at Bottles and Cans in Chicago, IL; enjoyed on a rainy Sunday spring afternoon. Appearance is a creamy pitch black with a thin white head. Aroma is extremely chocolatey, like chocolate milk, notes of vanilla and hazelnut. Taste is extremely good, like nutella chocolate milk. This is very much a dessert beer, I could see this paring well with ice cream. Not too much complexity with this one, you know what you’re getting, but that’s not a bad thing.

Poured darKeep brown with aromas of light cacoa, and malt with some oxidation. Flavors match the aromas with cacoa and some oxodation.

Smells like chocolate milk, and honestly tastes like alcoholic chocolate milk. Exactly what to expect when you see a label as ’chocolate milk stout’. Very good, smooth, and tasty. 4 Hands nailed it.

Look: pours black. Light tan head. Smell: chocolate. Cocoa powder. Taste: chocolate milk. Roasted malts. Feel: rather thing for a stout but very drinkable. Overall: ok beer. Very smooth. First drank: home 4/5/15 Vintage:

Chocolate is obviously present. Flavoring of the beer itself is noteworthy and not overwhelmed by the chocolate as if to cover it. Exactly what it claims to be. Would have again.

Pours a deep black color with a frothy airy Java head. Nose is sweet chocolate with a very mild astringency and funk. Taste is deep and bold chocolate, not overly sweet but accompanied by heavy malt. Finish is sweet chocolate malt and moderately long. Quaff Score 7 / 10

Cola brown color with thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, lactose, and roasted malt. Milk chocolate sweetness dominates with some roasted malt at the back end. Very nice.

Had on tap at their place. Pours dark brown with a thin tan head. Flavor is milk chocolate. No roast. Slightly sweet decent beer but I don't like the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
