Contact High is a hoppy wheat ale we dry hopped with blood orange zest. Contact high pours a bright orange hue with a big citrus aroma. A very refreshing beer!! Think of a beermosa with only beer!

22oz bottle from strykzone.Golden orange opaque hue with a big fluffy head. Pine is the dominant smell and flavor. But not over powering. Very interesting. Glad I got to try it.

Can from Binnys in Buffalo Grove. Pours a golden yellow with a bit of a white head. Nice streaks of lace. Aroma has fruit and light citrus, with some grain. Pleasant but not very strong. Taste is of sweet fruit, oranges with some light biscuity malt. Light to medium bodied. Finishes light and sweet, with a touch of bitterness. Solid and tasty without anything being too strong or exciting. 13.5

Can with one of those cool pull off tops. Pour is well its still in the can, so no head to speak of but its golden from what I can tell. Aroma tropical fruits, citrus, and fresh hops. Taste is crisp and clean up front, some slight citrus towards the middle, finishes with a mild bitter hop presence, very juicy, very refreshing, very crushable, this is a perfect beer for the +30 weather that I am currently roasting in.

[Tap] Pours a bright orange color with a distinct cloudiness to it. Lots of dense white head on top. Sweet orange zest and strong citrus hop in the nose. Tastes include more blood orange rind, high fruit bitterness, floral and citrus hops, light tannins, orange juice and mild wheat malts. Nice body for the style. Lingering grapefruit hoppiness is quite strong.

On tap, poured into a sampler glass. The aroma is sweet fruits - tangerines specifically, but the aroma/taste of blood oranges isnít fresh on my mind - with a bit of sugar. It has a soapy white head that sits atop a clear gold body. The head retains fairly well with a good ring and surface layer, and it leaves an average puffy lace on the glass. Itís a medium / medium high sweet beer with a light touch of bitter. The texture is slick with a soft carbonation and a medium body. It finishes dry and crisp with notes of tangerine (or maybe blood orange), grass, and fresh herbs. Perhaps the grass and herbs are really the wheat. The aftertaste is light and mostly reminiscent of citrus peel.

Pours into the glass a translucent golden-yellow with a large foamy head that leaves nice soap lacing. The nose is of orange and lemon. Citrus zest and wheat are among lemon hues and coriander. The finish is of zest and peel. Nice carbonation on this wheat ale. The carbonation is active, but the mouthfeel lively. Great brew!

Yellow gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Sweet wheaty malt start with floral hops on the nose. Flavor is large citrus lemon/orange zest I think and wheat malt. Medum body with good carbonation. Pretty nice as wheats go

Can-to-mouth... RBSG 2014Ö Iím rating this blind, at the brewery, with no knowledge of the style or previous ratings. It appears to be clear and dirty orange, but I canít be certain. Canít smell much of anything other than a light note of orange Creamcicle. Medium to full-bodied with energetic carbonation. The flavor doesnít talk to me all that much, but thereís plenty of bitterness and orange zest. Goes great with STL barBque!

Pours a clear golden with a thin white head. The aroma is potent and full of fruity citrus. It is very big on orange, some grapefruit, caramel, and grassy hops. The taste is tart due to the strong citrus impressions. Orange remains strong. However, it is balanced equally in strength by grapefruit. Some subtle lemon and grassiness is found in here as well. Sharp aftertaste of both orange and grapefruit is very short. Light in body, thin and slick in texture, and softer in carbonation. This is light and rather refreshing. I could honestly see myself drinking one of these with my eggs during brunch. Its good.

Can. Pours a clear light golden color with a small head. Aroma of citrus, some orange and grass. Taste of citrus orange zest bit of malt sweetness and grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Light body, clean and refreshing. Not a bad beer for the summer season.
